CHAPTER I: AEON

Aeon, a young and passionate knight was walking through the halls of the place where he apparently will meet up with his new teammates. He thought damn I don't want to meet them. They're probably annoying and won't do as I say. I'm the leader after all. Finally he reached the door where the others must be. Aeon was quite anxious. What if they won't like him as the leader of the group? Ugh cut it out. Finally, he built up the courage to knock and did so. One minute passes and finally a male voice tells him to enter. When Aeon opened the door, he saw them. A fairy, a chinchilla or something like that and a penguin. The penguin seemed very chill while the fairy the complete opposite. She was hiding in the back, not wanting to show herself. and the chinchilla? Well he was just chilling in the back, not bothered at all. Just chilling. Aeon was confused. Why are there different beings instead of a team with just puffballs like him? Suddenly a loud voice with a southern accent could be heard.
"ay pixie no need to hide from us! We don't bite. Unless you want me t-" the chinchilla interrupted him
"nope. Dedede just stop being like that. It's annoying" the chinchilla sounded annoyed as fuck Aeon thought. Well after the penguin said that, that fae, fairy or whatever reacted with a flustered "wh-what"

"awwh is pixie flustered? Oh How cuteeee~" dedede teased

Aeon sighed. He never thought that a bunch of unserious, unfunny and weird members would be with him for the journey and mission to seal the biggest threat in the universe. Void termina. Why hyness whyyy??
the chinchilla finally spoke after an awkward silence "how about we all introduce ourselves? Im fecto elfilis and who are you?" pointing at that fairy.
"a-me? i..I'm ripple.."
"okay. And you?!" he shouted angrily at the penguin because he's still annoyed from earlier.
"im the ONE AND ONLY king dedede! The king of dreamland"
ripple mumbled to herself "talking about ego...his is too big"
Aeon just nodded when he heard her mumble. King dedede's ego really is too much.
"anyways. Now let's get to know eachother before the ancients send us to our first mission? It would be real weird going with strangers to a mission. Right? ...right?"

Aeon nodded. He began to tell more about himself, trying to gain their trust.
"im aeon. I used to live in planet halfmoon..buut yeah its getting real dangerous out there and thank the stars hirias took me in and let me live here so I can serve this place. Also I love strawberry shortcake!"
"hm...interesting" elfilis commented. Ripple's eyes lit up when she heard strawberry shortcake.
"you..also love strawberry shortcake? Me too!" the fairy smiled a little. Her voice wasn't too loud but at least she opened up a bit.
"heh look at that! Our cute little pixie is opening up!" dedede cheered.

Aeon sighed. He thought it's a bunch of puffballs who work together and are super smart. But instead it was a bunch of weird ass people who can't even get along. A few hours of pure silence passed by and finally someone entered. It was hyness. The most powerful mage among the ancients.
"bonjam. You guys can go get your new armor and clothes and for you aeon: a new lance and shield, since yours broke durning the testing of your powers.

the 4 thanked him for telling them and went to the lobby to get their stuff

"oh stars almighty. Them ancients have great taste! Imma go try them out NOW" king dedede ran to his room, slammed the door and changed from his crusty musty dusty old stuff to the new clothes. Of course he kept his jacket.

Ripple held her new stuff for a while
"I quite like this...its pretty..." and quietly walked to the room next to the penguin.
elfilis decided to keep his old clothes for now and admired his BRAND NEW SPEAR.
"this is SO SICK! I LOVE IT! Its looks..so..so COOL!!-" and he hugged his spear.

Finally aeon got his stuff. New white-golden armor, a lance and shield that look very majestic. The puffball looks around. everyone was gone. finally he let out a sigh and went to his room. No echos. Nothing.
