Chapter 1

"Cristina, Celes is here." My mom called. "Coming," I said. Today I am attending a new school. It was for students like me who somehow are gifted magic. Many strange things have happened before. Like the time I accidentally flood my backyard when getting frustrated by how many times I failed on watering the flowers instead of the grass. But, I was only 5 years old. The Magic school Celes I am going is in a secret location. So she is taking me there. Celes came to our house a week ago and interviewed me. After, she said that if I choose to, I can attend the school of magic. I accepted. So I spend my week packing up and saying goodbye to friends. Celes also told me that the school is not close to here. So it is like a boarding school. I am 14 years old, so I can survive a whole year not seeing my parents. I dress like it was special today because today is special. I wore my fancy sparkly purple dress with silver trims. My favourite colour I wore silver high heels, a Amethyst dandling earrings, and a purple ribbon bow clipped onto the back of my long wavy black hair. I was now pulling my pink suitcase to down the stairs and headed for the door. At the door, Celes and mom wear talking about something. Celes was a pastel dress with golden trims. They stopped when they saw me. "You're are going to have lots of un and friends at this school." Celes told me. I smiled. My mom let me out the door and said, "Be on contact." She said, and closed the door. I saw a car in the on the road to the forest. I live close to the forest. We rode the car for like, 5 minutes and arrived at a random spot in the forest. "Were here." Celes said. I was confused, but I got out the car. Celes snapped and the car shrinked until it was the size of a toy car. "Cool," I said, amazed. Celes smiled. "One day you will learn how to do it." She then picked up the car and place it in her dress pocket. Celes looked carefully at a trees branch and the pulled it down like a lever. A purple portal opened up. A question popped in my head. "Did you make this or find this?" I said a little quieter then normal. "Made it," Celes said. "Come on." Then, she disappeared it the portal. I followed.
