The cafeteria buzzed with chatter as students filled the long tables, laughing between bites of food. Marinette sat with Adrien, Alya, Nino, Rose, Juleka, and Mylène, enjoying the rare moment of peace between classes. Adrien nudged Marinette playfully with his shoulder as they both laughed at one of Nino's jokes.

Suddenly, Ivan walked up to their table, a huge grin on his face and excitement practically radiating off him.

"Guys, guess what?!" he exclaimed, grabbing everyone's attention. "Linkin Park is back! They're ending their hiatus and they're gonna travel to perform at Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre!"

Marinette nearly dropped her fork. "Wait, what? Are you serious?! I didn't even know they were planning a return!"

Ivan nodded enthusiastically. "Yep! And they've got a new lead singer. Her name is Emily Armstrong. She's from another band called Dead Sara. People are saying she's amazing and that she's going to carry on Chester's legacy in a powerful way."

There was a moment of awe around the table. Marinette's eyes widened, her heart pounding at the name of Chester Bennington.

Adrien leaned forward, his interest piqued. "So Linkin Park has a new singer and they're back on tour? That's incredible. Who's on drums now?"

Ivan replied, "A guy named Colin Brittain. He's stepping in because Rob Bourdon decided not to rejoin the band."

"Wow," Adrien said, nodding. "That means there are two new members now. I've heard of Colin. He's got great energy. You'll probably like him."

Juleka, who had been quietly listening, perked up. "And... what about Brad Delson?"

Ivan gave a soft smile. "Brad confirmed that he won't be touring. He wants to focus on producing and working behind the scenes. But the touring guitarist will be Alex Feder, who's known as Leonard Friend."

Juleka's face lit up. "Alex Feder? That's awesome! I mean... I'll miss Brad, of course. But maybe I can tell Alex about the time we saw Linkin Park at Download Festival back on June 9, 2017. Maybe Brad still remembers me."

"I'm sure he does," Rose chimed in with a smile, squeezing her girlfriend's hand.

Marinette suddenly sat up straighter, inspiration flashing in her eyes. "You know what? I'll get us tickets! The concert is on November 3rd, 2024. We still have time to plan everything!"

"YES!" Alya shouted. "You're the best, girl!"

Everyone at the table cheered in excitement, already making plans and imagining the epic night ahead. Marinette leaned back in her chair, a small smile on her lips as she whispered to herself:

"I can't wait to meet Emily... and tell her how much Chester meant to me."
