A bullet whizzes past you, but you weren't as lucky as you thought you were. The next round fired hits your chest with the speed of a light ray and the impact of a semi-truck that's thirsty for blood. You drop to the ground as your lungs fill up with frothy blood, coloured a deep ruby red. You writhe in pain, and you feel like you are drowning in dry water. Slowly, you start to wither away; your consciousness fades as if you were going to sleep, but this time it's a permanent slumber.
This is the true price of war.
