"In a beautiful cage, for a bird it is not sweet."

O Yun Hwa walked along the corridor, feeling on herself glances, full of curiosity and admiration. Her luxurious dark hair, framing the face, were neatly arranged, and the school uniform sat impeccably, emphasizing the graceful figure. She was the embodiment of elegance and aristocratic charm, which made her completely out of place in this school for guys, but such was the order of the father. Deputy Oh wanted that his daughter shone. That she was the best in everything, because in the future Yun Hwa was supposed to continue his work.

But the girl had other plans. Her heart dreamed about teaching, about that to see the sparkle in the eyes of students, when they discover for themselves something new.
But the father did not hear her.
He saw in her only an opportunity for even greater influence and power.

The morning bell notified about the start of classes, and Ye Hwa confidently entered the class, attracting universal attention.
The young teacher, who introduced herself as mister Kim, with a smile pointed her to the seat.
He was unusually courteous, which was quite expected, considering the position of her father.

"Good morning, Yun Hwa-ssi. Welcome to our school. I hope you will like it with us," said she, and her glance was full of false care.

Yun Hwa with difficulty suppressed irritation. To her did not like this show-off, which she received only because of the status of the father.
She was sick from the false smiles and flattery.

The glance of Yun Hwa slid across the class. Attention attracted the guy sitting on the back desk. He looked ordinary, in his glance was read sadness. Her stepbrother O Bom Sook. Yun Hwa knew that he too was not glad of this change. Bom Sook transferred because of bullying in the old school, and Yun Hwa – because of the whim of the father.

Soon into the class entered a young woman, her soft smile seemed sincere.

The homeroom teacher, missus Pak, approached Yun Hwa and sweetly greeted her.

"Dear, welcome. We are glad to see you in our school. Maybe at least someone will be able to influence these slackers!" laughed she, her glance also was full of flattery.

Lessons went their course, but Yun Hwa could not concentrate. She felt herself like in a golden cage. Externally everything looked perfect, but inside she was suffocating from a feeling of hopelessness.

After lessons Yun Hwa found Bom Sook near the exit from the school. And it seems, he was waiting for the sister.

"Hello," quietly said she, approaching the brother.

Bom Sook raised his head, his eyes behind the glasses seemed tired.

"Hello, Yun Hwa. How is the first day for you?" he asked, trying to smile.

"Terrible," honestly answered she. "All these hypocrites. And why did father arrange this?"

"He wants that you were the best.." sadly said Bom Sook. "He does not understand what you need."

Yun Hwa sighed. She knew that Bom Sook was right. Their father saw in them only tools for achieving his goals.

At this moment to them approached two guys. They were the complete opposite of Bom Sook. One – tall, with a playful glance and a sporty body, and the other – detached, with a cold glance.

"Bom Sook, is this your sister?" asked the tall guy.

"Yes," nodded Bom Sook. "Yun Hwa, this is Su Ho and Si Eun."

Yun Hwa slightly bowed, demonstrating good upbringing.

"Nice to meet you," said she.

"Mutually," answered Si Eun, attentively examining her.

Ahn Su Ho smiled, his glance was full of interest.

Yun Hwa felt how her cheeks slightly reddened. For the first time in a long time she felt herself alive.

That evening, having returned home, Yun Hwa encountered the father in his study.

"How passed the day, Yun Hwa?" asked he, not tearing his glance from the papers.

"Good," answered she, trying to hide the excitement.

"Study diligently. Your grades must be the best," said he, his voice sounded coldly. "You must be an example for everyone."

"Father, I want to say..." began she, but he interrupted her.

"You have no right of choice, Yun Hwa. You will do what I tell you. You will be my pride. You must graduate this school excellently." his glance became hard. "If you disobey me, you know what will be."

Yun Hwa understood that to argue is useless. She only nodded, holding back tears.

After leaving the father's study she ran into her room and locked herself, allowing tears to flow freely.
She knew that a cruel struggle for the right to be herself awaited her.
She dreamed about freedom, about that, to herself decide her fate.
But for now she was a prisoner in the golden cage, created by the father.
