Otto-For now. Yes. But... there have been some changes on Duchess Karsten's front. Ones that are to our benefit.

Emilia-To our benefit?

Otto -Yes. Duchess Crusch Karsten, as if she's a different person, has lost some of her lustre over this year. She used to be stern in both public and private affairs, someone that the supporters of the previous Duke Karsten couldn't help but accept.

Otto - People were certain that she'd win the Selection, being that she secured the first achievement with the White Whale offensive... but, it's unclear what exactly led to her downfall. There has been remours that the sin archbishop of Gluttony had attacked her shortly after reaching her manor.... Whatever the case is,  Emilia-sama, be sure to keep vigilant.

At that , Emilia nodded while noticing Regulus had a frown on his face , and Subaru had stiffened at the archbishop's mention. Despite being unclear as to what history they had with the archbishop, she stayed quiet.

 Otto- I believe that Anastasia's faction is the one we must be most cautious of. And then we get an invitation from them... and it all feels like we're going to wind up in their debt. Do you understand how immeasurably troubled I am?

Emilia- ...It's finally sunken in sooo deep. I'm sorry for acting so rashly.

Otto- Nothing to worry, just as long as you understand. You'll never do anything careless again I'm sure... I'm sure... because I'm sure that you understand!

Seeing Emilia's conflicted eyes , Otto spoke once again-

Otto- You don't have to agonize over it alone.

Says Otto, imagining how Emilia must feel. Emilia looks up. Otto fiddles with his grey hair.

Otto- You may be the central figure, but that doesn't mean that you have to do everything yourself. You have this whole carriage with you.

Emilia- This whole carriage?

Otto- Natsuki-san is at the reigns. Beatrice-chan is on guard to make sure he doesn't slack off. Garfield is keeping lookout atop the carriage, and I am the one who planned our itinerary. Rem-san is ready to assist us with her extraordinary maid skills whenever time comes for her to act . Regulus- san is ready to strike down whoever comes to pick a fight with us on the road . What you do is thank all of us for our work, and we'll bumble our way to Pristella.

At that, Regulus finally spoke-

Regulus- Don't just assume that I'm here to fight off your enemies if you asked me to. I'm a free man who has the right to do whatever they want to do . or, do you believe yourself to be superior than me? ME? Did you just assume you can order me around?  If so, that's a clear infringement upon my rights to freedom, and I, Regulus corneas, the most satisfied existence to ever have taken foot on this world,  will not tolerate such violation against my rights.

AS Regulus spoke, he was not interrupted by otto, rather otto waited for him to complete his speech and then spoke , knowing full well, that this was the way to treat Regulus-

Otto- It was just a thought, Regulus- san. No need to get worked up about this. Even if you don't want to assist, it won't matter as much.

After the words fell out of Otto, he looked at Regulus once again, and saw ...an eye twitch-

Regulus- Not only do you imply that, I, Regulus corneas, the most satisfied existence to ever have taken foot on this world, had gotten worked upon such insignificant issue, you also are imply that without me, Regulus corneas, the most satisfied existence to ever have taken foot on this world, you would have managed it out? Managed it out? How narcissistic can you be to think that?-

 Otto was surprised that he had somehow managed to displeasure Regulus and made him rant once again , He had a single though about this " Well, no businessman is capable to persuade him, I guess, but if he's not gonna listen to even his allies then...does he even consider us as his allies?"

While Otto was pondering about the answer to his question, Regulus continued on,

Regulus- But Alas! I really can't hope any of your puny brains to have the capability to understand the situation. Looks like the idiot's really spreading the disease among you all, I'm simply wasting my time by showing you what wrong you have done. I truly wonder why do I, I, Regulus corneas, the most satisfied existence to ever have taken foot on this world, have to manage with such kind of people . All I want is to just stay peacefully at the mansion, but nope, every single time, there is a problem around lurking in the shadows, and I mean literally lurking in the Shadows.

With that, Regulus just simply looked out of the window and said-

Regulus- Well, Looks like we have arrived at the place , "Pristella ".

"And indeed, they have arrived at Pristella, the place where typhoon's remains remain  " Subaru thought .
