SHADOW:IN WAR WITH EXORCISTS

ONE

Rustling of leaves could be heard as a creature sped through the forest like a wreaking ball leaving a cleared path behind. Anyone would know someone or something powerful passed here.

 Panting, it stopped and looked around his blood shot eye filled with panic and fear, the moon shone on, displaying the sword marks on his face that were dripping with blood.

"I smell a demon" he muttered, before looking up

"Hmm-What a wonderful night to sight see the moon, Isn't it my friend" I said to the demon, leaning on a tree my arms folded as I looked up into to the sky.

"A pure demon-" the demon said with a smile taking slow strides towards me his crocodile scales glittering in the moonlight "- you'll do well as bait"

 Around him the life from the flowers around him began to fade as he extracted the water in it. The water formed spears around him while hovering dangerously above him.

"You know the night is still young for a fight" I said closing my eyes.

"Are those your last words there hilarious" he said then then sent the spears at to me.

 The spears flew towards me at a dangerous speed, a speed that showed its path. A few inches from my face I opened my eyes as it stopped causing a wave of dust the dust cleared as I was seen unshaken, my iris a shade of red

"Try harder dear friend" I said as the spears turned and faced the demon.

 A look of panic flashed on his face as looked at me "Those spears are infused with pieces of my scale so how did he take control of them" he thought 

"Who are you" he asked, as I smiled lightly

"I AM ..." a loud thud was heard behind the demon as his devastated face resurfaced

"Didn't they teach not to use your demonic power when being chased by a hunter more power full than you" an angelic voice said coldly, coming out of the dust a katana glowing dangerously in her hand.

"Don't come any closer or my demon brethren will annihilate you" he said all traces of fear lost.

"Where is your so called brethren" the newcomer a lady asked, she wore an overall body hug that revealed all her marvelous curves and a long black coat.

"Over there" the demon said then looked at the position where I stood'

"Are  you looking for me" my voice came from behind, a bit of amusement in it. The turned around and saw me standing beside the lady "You call me your brethren after trying to kill me"

"T-that w-was a-a f-form o-of g-gr-eeting i-in o-our d-de-demon c-clan" the demon stuttered in fear.

"Well this will be your last display of courtesy" I said taking slow strides towards him, the spears shaking with power.

"Why side with her against your kind?" his asked, causing me to laugh.

"Asks the demon who tried to kill me" I said as my iris began to glow red together with the spears

"But she's a hunter" he added, as I smiled

"So am I" ...

The alarm rang forcing me to wake up from my slumber, I sighed then stopped the alarm from making my ears bleed, then I got down from the bed and went for the usual morning routine.

I came down stairs a few minutes later dressed in a black suit, a Rolex placed perfectly on my left hand.

"Another stressful day of running a company" I thought as I walked out of my house, then I put my hands in my pocket and brought out my phone and placed a call to someone.
