Raelina Facien is a half-commoner who is half-blood royalty, too. Her mother was a famous knight who left knighthood, knowing she was baring the prince child.
Without the prince knowing the queen exile her mother far away that she doesn't have objection and left to not ruin the prince reputation.
By time, the prince became the king and married to another country. While Raelina grew up. She had fun without questioning and training swords with her mother.
"Mom ... who is my father?" Realina asked.
Her mother halted and hugged her tightly.
"My child, do not question such things like that. Ok?" Her mother said, caressing her cheek.
Raelina just nods and smiles.
"Good girl..." her mother praising her.
Everything is fine well known. Until Realina got home and saw knights outside their peaceful home.
"Mom!!" She hugged her mother tightly.
" Mom? You have a child?..." The king asked.
" Yes, your majesty... She is my daughter. I believe you're here to question after long years.
But, I do have a husband, and I left to live a peaceful life. " her mother said, stroking raelina's head in awe and her words mixed with white lies.
"W-who...is the father of that child?" The king asked
" A commoner like me, your majesty." Her mother said.
"None sense?! There is something odd in her hair colour! I'm not dumb Reanie!?" The king said.
"Your majesty, her hair colour is brown like mine, right Raelina? " her mother hinted her with a smile, and she nods.
"Let me see her close then?" The king said.
There, Raelina feared and hid behind her mother, trembling and clinging to her dress.
"My apologies, Your Highness... my child is not that fan of close interaction if she just met you." Her mother said.
" Why not? Are you confident before? You should have taught her." The king implied.
" I may be confident although... Raelina doesn't trust strangers in her eyes. She's cautious and wary to everyone except for me." Her mother stated.
" Well then, Reania Facien...Come back to the castle with me." The king offered.
" I'm contented with my lifestyle here. I have my family, and you have yours, your majesty.
My apologies ... but i retired handling my knighthood. being a mother and wife to a living peacefully." Her mother said, holding Raelina's hand.
There, the king expression remained stoic, and they both stared at each other.
"Mom...why is the king here?" Raelina asked.
"Oh... sweetie...the king came by to see the village and greet. He will be going soon enough... so rest ease dear." Her mom asked.
" The...knights are surrounding our house...mom...I'm scared..." Raelina said.
" I'm sorry, sweetie... they are friendly after all their mom's fellow knight before..." her mom said, comforting little raelina.
" They are???" She asked
" Yup... now its rude to not greet them back, sweetie." Her mother said.
There little Raelina walk to the king and do a courtesy.
"G-greetings y-your...h-hig-highnwees," She said, bowing her head and holding her skirt.
The king was somehow intrigued by her action.
"How old are you now,little one?" The king asked
"F-f-five y-your s-s-siree." She said, fidgeting her tiny fingers
"I see... the five years and 3 months you left without saying anything... Why did you run away...my love, " the king said with a sweet tone, caressing her mother's cheek.
Althought, her mother looked away and stepped back.
"My lord... It is not right to do this... we both have our own family and its infidelity to your the Queen.
I would not dare to commit such acts prudently and still have my dignity to justice." Her mother said
"But...she is not the one I loved Reania...please come back to me." The king said.
"It's a sin against Gods and Goddess... Neither I am, not a royalty. I serve you as a commoner and a retired knight.
I serve this kingdom as my family and my fate bounded with my oath of knighthood." Her mother claimed.
The King's eyes expressed the grave yearning that he tried to reach her face but halted knowing that it was futile to argue with her and let out a sighed.
"As you wish... But, I was her to offer you to be my personal knight once again. Reania... no one can be as exceptional as talented than you." The king said.
" I guess... you never change that, you know... I can't defy your orders, for it will be in the all law not to." Her mother calmly stated.
"Reania Facien ... I denounced the last queen, my mother, order on you and annotating as my personal knight. Here and now. Do you pledge your faith and loyalty as my knight." The king said
Her mother gets on her one knee and bows her head helplessly. As little Realina watched them silently confused.
"I pledged my life and heart to the kingdom I vowed to protect as oath of a knight." Her mother said
" Then I king Leonard Raven, confirm this pledge of oath in the village of Sheffield Woods to The Moon Kingdom." The king said.
After that, Realina witnessed her mother being bestowed as a knight once again. Mesmerising and emulating this memory.
Reania Facien, her mother, and her were taken back to the palace with the king. But, their relationship never changed back as it was before.
"Realina... sweetie... are you sure you want to go with me?" Her mother asked
"Of course, mom! I love going adventure with you, and besides, I will see more cool side of my mom and show it off the world!! I'M MOM'S FIRST FAN!" Realina excitingly getting loud while her mother chuckled by her cuteness.
"Mommm! Stop laughing! I'm only telling the truth! I love mom more than anyone! You're strong and brilliant!" She innocently said, with a warm smile.
