The first time you saw him, you were smiling to yourself. A bag full of snacks in hand. You were too caught up in your head you didn't notice a man walking up to the door and bumped his shoulder.

Your body jumped at the sudden contact as you frantically tried to find your words. Before you could say anything the guy gave you a quick once over and went inside the convenience store. Leaving you there, feeling the guilt claw its way into you.

You leaned against the wall beside the door as you waited for him. Fidgeting with your ring. The interaction kept replaying in your head.

After a few minutes of waiting and still no sign of him, you decided to occupy yourself and took out your phone. It almost dropped out of your hand when the door burst open and a guy went flying head first on the ground close to you. Appearing behind him was the guy you've waited for, his once clean, bright orange windbreaker, now stained with specks of blood.

You bit your lip and backed away a tad bit when he made eye contact with you for a brief moment before putting his attention on the guy struggling to get up.

When you took a good look at the guy, there was blood coming out of his nose. You blinked as your mind processed the situation.

The guy pulled the victim by the hair and made him stand before whispering something in his ear and laughing. You watched as the guy nodded and ran off. Slightly limping.

You saw him throw his head back and laughed as you both watched the guy trying his best not to fall. His hand holding his bloodied nose.

When the victim was out of view, you saw the guy starting to walk off and stop him. Running his way and stood in front of him.

"I wanted to say sorry for bumping into you just now."

You watched as the guy scanned you up and down before taking a drag from his cigarette and gave you a bored look before walking off.

He left you to stand there alone and bewildered as he walked with a careless sway and finally went out of sight.

You sighed to yourself and made your way back home as well. The guilt still there but lessened slightly.

The second time you met, it was his turn to bump into you. Though you had a suspicion his was not an accident considering the way you weren't supposed to almost fall from a slight bump.

Just your luck, the water you've been holding spilled all over your shirt. Turning it from white to see through. Your mouth dropped open as you watched him walk away without saying anything.

Wow, okay jerk.

You followed after him and made him turn to look at you by grabbing his shoulder.

He looked at your hand then back at you as he took a hold of your wrist and slowly took your hand off.

"You bumped into me."

You looked at him with furrowed eyebrows and a hand in your hip.

"So?" was the response that followed.

"What do you mean so? Look at what you did."

You pointed towards your chest, your bra now being visible.

You followed his eyes as they looked down a little longer than it should before he looked back at you, his tongue poking his cheek.

He leaned his face close to you and smiled when he saw you didn't back away.

"Now we're even."

You were about to retort back but you stayed quiet instead. The remaining bit of guilt you felt was making you restless. Thanks to his attitude towards you right now though, all of it dissipated in an instant.
