Mortality (FemReader x Sukuna - Heian era)

Necessary to read before continuing!!!

Hello cuties!! long time no see... if anyone is even reading this XD

im writing this like a maniac bc im trying to be quick dont mind how bad and wrong some words are lol

(Currently the story is about half way maybe one thirds done lol)

(I might rewrite some chapters since im scared that maybe i contradict myself later on)

So ive spent like loads of time writing this but I want to give a fair warning before ya'll start reading that some chapters aren't as good as others (in my opinion) since like some stuff like kinda filler? idk maybe im just rambling but ill maybe be super hyped for a certain chapter but it still needs some context before happening so there might be some poorer written chapters before a better chapter. So not exactly filler since i would still say its necessary to read every chapter! awsome sauce 

So a few things before continuing- I've decided to have in this story Uraume written as a man, since I do believe that it's not been stated before their gender during the heian era. I wrote Uraume as a man since i decided to have them have a different role towards the main characters than what ive usually seen before in other fics.

Another thing that I would like to add is that when it comes to the sorcery and stuff like that I decided to not imply it like crazy, what i mean by that is that i dont write like uhhh- Sukuna shot fire out of his ass- lol yeah i just dont know how to write 'superpowers' in a way that i like or would enjoy reading. But no worries the fact that there are characters that have powers and what not is made clear in the story, just the way the characters use them are more subtle. and also from what ive been reading on the jjk wiki sukuna is extremely EXTREMELY overpowered and i am lowkey downplaying him a lot in this story since it would be no fun if he would just be a brat that won everything ever in life lol

Continuing that, I really would appreciate if i wouldn't get roasted if I get some canon or whatever things wrong since when i first started writing the story I didn't 'research' a whole lot, just kinda went with the flow so yeah, obviously nice comments about how i could maybe fix somethings are welcomed, but obviously I cant really do anything if its something major that would require me to rewrite a bunch, so im hoping nothing like that is in the story.

Also ive done my best to research about how stuff was back then like with buildings and how people were, just like the basics but most searches only show me the middle ages in europe but im sure asia had the same type of technology(?) and stuff back then, ive been able to find out how armor, weapons and clothing for example were backthen but wqhen i try to search for idk lighting and stuff i can only find a broad spectrum of countries. So yeah if anyone is a history buff on the heian era and would like to suggest some things that is appieciated :)

third thing-yes im almost done

ive decided to add in the beginning of some chapters songs that I believe suit the chapter, obviously you guys dont have to listen to the songs while reading (im horrible at doing that) but it would be nice if you guys would give the songs a listen before reading the chapter to get more of like a feel for the tone and emotions that im trying to invoke. And hey if you guys have listened to any of the songs recently and still remember them then no need to listen again!

lastly, disclaimer im super bad at remembering which directions everything is in, which you guys might notice while reading, especailly since a whole bunch of places are mentioned early on. I do apologize for that so I will be adding a little map thing down below to clear things up since I dont rlly feel like going back and trying to find every time I wrote which way bing bang boop this go here and there yeah... also pay no mind to how long it takes for characters to travel, i honestly have no idea how long on foot or horse it takes to travel from point a to b so dw ab that
