The blue pool light reflected off of Desiree's face as she popped up from the water. Her dark blonde hair faded into brown from the water, sprinkled with little curls here and there.

"Angel, what time is it?" She asked Angelique.

Angelique spun around on her glittery pool ring. Her long, silky brown hair getting in her face.

"Uh, let me check actually."

She got out of the pool and tapped her phone. The glow of it highlighted her pale blue eyes.

"Two twenty-two."

she chattered before hopping back in the pool, splashing Reverie on accident.

"Hey, watch it. I just washed my hair." Reverie sighed.

She adjusted her bun with her bunched up red hair. There were still loose curls hanging around her face.

"So, are we pulling an all nighter tonight?" Desiree asked impatiently, hoping they would say yes.

"Sure," Angelique spoke "but we should probably work on our divinity list".

Reverie's face lit up "Oh I have too many people I need to add."

She spoke fast. Desiree just smirked, clearly ecstatic. "Angelique," she asked coldly "what about Theodore? We're running out of time, and unless he wants to join us he'll be heartbroken."

Angelique turned to Reverie, with a blank expression. "Like, add him to the divinity list?" Reverie questioned.

Desiree just nodded, staring past Reverie like a monster was behind her. They were used to her silly and strange antics. Desiree had been admitted to multiple psychiatric facilities. Two of which she escaped from. Reverie turned around, confused. She saw nothing but Desiree's old treehouse with dirty astroturf.

Angelique spoke up after a few seconds of thinking. "Well...I don't know. Let's talk about it later?" She chuckled nervously. "

Just bring him with us!" Reverie chuckled.

"I'll think about it, but one of you is doing it if we follow through." She didn't even look at the two.

It was clear she just said no in the politest way possible. Desiree grinned.

"Oh, bet that." She cackled sarcastically. Reverie and Angelique stared at her. "You're so silly." Reverie smiled. "

Thank you." Desiree muttered with a grin.

Angelique just laughed. You couldn't really tell if she was nervous, or just thought the situation was funny. She was always like that. Desiree was always with Angelique. Reverie came around later on.

"You know, I think it's pretty awesome that we're like this." Desiree sighed with a smile that curved around her sharp fangs. She isn't exactly a vampire, but you could say she's close enough to one. "

No it isn't, love." Reverie sighed.

Angelique spoke up. "I mean, for a cheaper price it would've been better."

Desiree sat on the pool ledge. Her thick, curly hair started fading back into blonde as it dried. The frizz danced on the top of her hair as she rubbed her tired, brown eyes.

"Oh my god, guys. We should go on Uhmegle later." Reverie chanted.

Desiree and Angeliques eyes lit up. "Okay! But we're doing it on your ipad Rev."

 Angelique chuckled.

"Okay, i'm gonna go get some towels." Desiree got up from the ledge and ran inside, picking up three pink towels and dropping them by the pool. She wrapped herself in one and went inside, waiting for the other two to come.

The water droplets soaked into the concrete as their wet feet scurried inside. Their wet hair dripped on the wooden floor.
