More Severe Than You Think (Original)

The struggles I face

On a day to day base

Are more severe than you think

Faster than a blink

My world crashes down

My smile quickly turns into a frown

Out comes a tear

that settles on my chin with fear

I mumble and stumble over the words I say.

I'm sorry I'm not perfect, to you that's not okay.

I'll try to be my best

better then the rest

But when I fall pick me up and shelter me from the cold

we all know this world gets cruel fast and it's getting very very old...

The struggles I face

On a day to day base

Are more severe than you think

Faster than a blink

My wrists become cuts

boy you'll think I'm nuts

I'm insane, maybe crazy

I can't remember it's getting to be a bit hazy

The voices in my head are greeted with certain dread.

Ana, Ana. Don't eat that

It will make you fat.

What're you doing, you fat cow

Take a bow

Over the toilet bowl

and let it all go.

The struggles I face

On a day to day base

Are more severe than you think.
