Love is patient, love is kind. It doesn't not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. ~ 1 Corinthians 13:4

"So can we have the talk now?" Zachary comes up from behind me, and helps me mount up Buck, are gelding we have.

"Only if you do one thing for me?" It came out more as a question then a statement, but, he got my point.
I look up at him with my hand resting on the saddle.

"Fine. What is it you want now?" I smiled at him.

"Promise you'll do the favor?"

"Well what is it?"

"No you got to promise me first." I chuckled softly.

He shakes his head and smiles, he swipes his thumb over his mouth softly and quickly. "Fine, I promise I will do whatever it is you want me to do."

I smiled while putting my hair up in a loose ponytail. I hurried and mounted on the horse, "saddle up cowboy and take a ride to the lake with me. I'll beat you there." I started to trot off when he yelled back, "who should I saddle?"

"Daisy!" As I glanced back he didn't even saddle her he just jumped on her back and had her jump the smaller fence. I laughed and side kicked Buck, my black gelding. You could pretty much guess how he got his name haha.
He started running faster and faster every second, I entered him in many different horse races and barrel races and many more. So he's pretty much trained up.

Now Daisy on the other hand, she's been through many more races than Buck has, but she's older so she's a bit slower than she used to but if she truly tried, she could beat my big boy any day. Before I knew it I hear Zach behind me yelling, " I will win!"

I smiled and just kept running. Hearing Bucks hooves pound on the earths surface was rhythmic and soothing. It was nice that all I got to do is just hold on and enjoy the ride. Buck and Daisy both know their way around here. They both know what it means when we say "lake". It's just in their blood by now. My daddy rode them around here all the time growing up, and even way before then.

I slowly start to feel Buck slow down, and we come to a stop at the spot my Daddy's ashes were spread. Sometimes I think horses can sense that kind of stuff. In a way it's weird and freaky but almost every time we come back here, Buck, Daisy, or ButterCup, would come to a stop here, almost as if they know. ButterCup was my dads personal horse. She was his first baby.

Within seconds Daisy and Zach stopped next to us.

After a moments of silence between us, I look over at Zach, "Do you wanna talk here?" I see his big Green eyes focusing hard which only means he was in a deep thought. He looks up, and rubs the back of his head,"no." He looks at me with a stern look and pushes Daisy forward. I just sit there for a moment and watch him walk away.

"I miss you Daddy. Please come home." I lightly said, as I look up at the sky, deep down I knew he couldn't. "If heaven wasn't so far away." I mumbled under my breath, with that I trotted off to keep up with Zach And Daisy.

We finally got to the open field spot where we usually hang out at, it wasn't too far but it was a good distance away, there's a river that flows right by it, it's a beautiful scenery. Momma and Daddy used to tell us all the time this is where they had their first kiss, it was under the willow tree on the other side of the river.

There are chairs out here all ready. We placed them here and decided not to move them. We figured it wouldn't be the first and last time we'd be out here so we just left them where they were.
