We would like to credit Author Afrah, whilst there aren't any direct references to her book Ishq Ki Kahani (and any similarities were not intended to breach copyrights), she did inspire us to write this story and we just want to say thank you for creating IKK, one of the best stories ever written.
Also credit to our best friend, the real life Shreya Ghani. We love you so much!!!! And we hope you love this surprise (also if you plan on murdering us in our sleep, please give us three days notice).
What was once just an idea to put our delusions and fake scenarios on paper turned into a full blown novel, and a lot of effort goes into the chapters so while waiting for chapter updates please keep the comments respectful and although we cant guarantee dates we do not intend on leaving this unfinished!
Just a quick disclaimer as well, this story is based off of our lives (loosely) and while we do intend for this story to be fictional and wildly inaccurate to real life (because let's be real, who wants to read a realistic romance book?), please be mindful that some things will be based on real events. Please be respectful of that when leaving comments! Of course, we are open to feedback, suggestions etc but please keep any criticism constructive.
In addition both of us are Muslims so the majority of the characters are also Muslim but two of our characters (Shreya and Rahul) are Hindu, and while we will be doing a lot of research to make sure everything is accurate and respectful, if we have got anything wrong please let us know! We have no intention of being offensive or disrespecting anyone. Along those lines, Malik and Aryan are Iranian and Lebanese respectively, while we are Pakistani, so please make sure to correct us if we mess up when writing about anything cultural.
We are not professional writers of course, and the intention of this story is to feed our delusions, so the writing may not be perfect! Keep that in mind but feel free to leave a comment on anything that doesn't make sense or is incorrect!
