LUCY CARTER, YEAR 2011

It's raining outside, how could I leave you to catch cold? No, I can't. But my bad, bad luck, I don't even know how to handle a new born at the age of 90 with my past two heart attacks, you don't know, Daniel, how broken I feel right now. And honestly, I don't want you to grow in the dark, my love.

Your mum and dad, they had always planned a future for you with a world of bright sun rays falling on you, with the fragrance of flowers filling your nostrils..and then you, shining like a diamond in the nature.

But here it is, your old granny has to leave you in the cold, wet floor so that someone, anyone, could take care of you after I die within a few years?..hours?...nobody knows.

I just want you to be cradled in the right hands because the cruelty in this world is just beyond the limits of understanding of a being. I don't want anyone to do the same they did to your mummy and daddy they killed them Daniel...brutally...in words I can't write fully in this letter but always remember to take care of yourself

Your granny,
Lucy
