Chapter 20: To The Hot Springs We go!

She didn't think Bakugo nor Kirishima knew she could hear them before getting on the bus, and this wasn't any of the other's fault, and they deserved to have some fun so she wouldn't take that away from them. So in order to avoid them worrying about her during this whole trip she would give them each a reassuring smile from time to time so they wouldn't ask her if anything was wrong.

"This is going to be the best!" Tohru smiled down at the boy sitting next to her.

"The steamy hot springs adventure here we go!" Momiji grinned as he raised his fists.

"I can't wait!" Mina followed his movements.

"Hey look we're here!" Uraraka's eyes widened in awe as the bus suddenly stopped in front of a nice-looking inn.

Filling out of the bus they stopped at the small pathway that would lead them to the springs.

"Wow..." They all marveled at the house in front of them.

"This is such a wonderful in!" Tohru gushed over it. "I suddenly feel like a princess!"

"It's really nice on the inside too." Momiji did a little spin before he skipped over to Tohru who was still busy admiring the outside of this place along with the others.

"Let's just go inside." Bakugo slung his bag over his shoulder, ready to get on with this until they stopped dead in their tracks when a frail looking woman was seen desperately clutching the door to the inn. "What the..."

"W-welcome to the innnnn..." she breathed out, eyes wide and staring at each face in front of her.

"ARGH!" Mina, Uraraka, Tohru and Kaminari each jumped a foot when the woman's eyes landed on them.

"W-what is that?!" Kaminari whimpered, pointing a shaking finger at her.

"Properness!" Momiji pointed out.

"Proprietress." Yuki quickly corrected before the woman launched herself at them making the group yelp out in fright.

"CREEPY!"

"Please make yourselves at home!" she shouted which only made Yuki facepalm when the sounds of his friends screams became louder.

Once inside the woman quickly began to apologized. "I apologize if I startled you earlier."

"It's fine." Tohru nervously responded.

"Yeah, no sweat. We've been around Bakugo for years now, so this is nothing." Kaminari grinned.

"What the hell's that supposed to mean?!"

"Here we are." The woman came to a stop in front of a sliding door. "These are the rooms I've prepared for you. I hope they are to your liking."

"This one's so big!" Momiji didn't waste time letting himself in to survey the room.

"And you girls will be staying in the room next door." The woman warmly smiled to which all the girls bowed in gratitude.

"Thank you."

Walking into the room Bakugo gave a quick scan before placing his bag down and rummaging through it until he found what he was looking for. He was just glad that it didn't get lost or broken up to this point with the constant traveling.

Carefully running his thumb against the small cherry blossom hairpin he quickly jammed it back inside his bag when he felt Momiji try to peek over his shoulder.

"What's that?"

"Nothing! Now scram!" He shouted keeping his eyes on a carefree Momiji before looking back down. Despite how he may feel at the moment he still wanted her to have it, even if perhaps nothing would come of it.
