"Hey I just got here."

"And I'm hungry!" Momji added.

"Whatever." Roughly drying his hands on the nearby towel, Bakugo brushed past Kyo making sure to bump his shoulder along the way.

"Hey is everything alright?" Tohru worried asked before adding. "The foods done."

"Yay I'm starving!" Momiji was the first to move, making all the tension in the room quickly dissipate when all he could think about was getting breakfast.

"Alright so let's go through this again..."

After breakfast they all lined up outside to listen in to Shigere's lecture on responsibility while they were gone since he wasn't going to be there for now, but anything that was being said was quickly being drowned out when Bakugo readjusted the strep to his bag and watched Uraraka completely focused on what the man had to say.

"Hey man you alright?" Kirishima worriedly asked, observing the way Bakugo's eyes quickly moved away from the girl.

"Fuckin peachy." He muttered.

He had calmed himself down long enough by the time he came back to the house last night, knowing that someone like Uraraka wasn't that type of girl to just go for the first guy she saw. Otherwise, he would've never fallen for her in the first place.

Hell if he had to be honest, he was actually surprised that it took her this long to try and find the courage to finally confess her feelings to Deku. He hadn't meant to overhear a conversation she once had with Frog girl where Uraraka admitted something he had already known for the longest time, but to actually hear that all his suspicions were right...and that she was thinking about acting on it made him realize that his window was quickly closing and he knew that he had to try and catch her attention somehow otherwise he'd lose his chance forever.

I mean how hard was it for her to understand that he was crazy about her?! Hadn't he made it clear by now?!

But now after watching the way she still reacted around this Kyo guy after finding them alone and barely dressed TWICE had him thinking that maybe it was stupid of him to think that their time away from UA would open up doors for them he never thought he could get.

"But dude you're not-"

"I said I'm fine ok!" He quietly snapped.

"Yeah, you see that. That didn't sound convincing at all." Kirishima flatly stared at his best friend. "You know you can always talk to me."

He gave a quick peek towards Uraraka who still had her back turned towards them. "I couldn't give two shit's what she does or who she talks to as long as it doesn't involve me."

"You sure?" After many years of friendship Kirishima could tell when Bakugo was only trying fool those around him, because the red head also knew that when it came to Bakugo's heart...the usual confident explosive friend he came to know could be just as fragile. So the best way to protect himself was to try and put up a defensive wall to avoid the possibly of shattering it in the process.

"Just drop it already!" Bakugo snapped back, ignoring the way everyone's curious eyes briefly turned to them before resuming listening to Shigere, well everyone but Uraraka's who still refused to look back at them.

Unaware that she had overheard most of their conversation as the sadness slowly began to weigh in on her. 'Is that how he really feels...?'

During the whole bus ride to the hot springs Uraraka couldn't help but absently stare out the window while Momiji, Mina and Kaminari continued to eagerly bounce in their seats from all the excitement.
