"I wanted to help, but he won't let me...that big meanie." Momiji tragically pouted. "But I didn't see him tell Tohru to leave."
"It's alright Momiji." Tohru smiled. "I was a bit surprised myself that I wasn't the first person to come down this morning. So I'm only glad he allowed me to help."
'Allowed her to help?!' Uraraka felt like the sinking feeling in her stomach only seemed to get worse the longer she stayed there listening to this. Not once could she recall a time when Bakugo asked her to help or even allowed her to stay in the kitchen long enough to try and help. Yet this girl had no problem cooking with him.
"Ooh I just can't wait to try all the tasty treats they have for us-" Momiji's next words were cut short when Mina covered his mouth with her hand and quickly shook her head.
"Are you seriously still on that?" Uraraka snapped.
The sound of chopping was the only thing Uraraka could hear after she decided to confront him with his ongoing attitude. He didn't even bother turning to acknowledge her when he finally decided to respond.
"Just pointing out the obvious that perhaps you're lacking in taste."
Balling her fists on either side of her, Uraraka stubbornly raised her chin refusing to let him ruin her mood, but after giving another brief glance at the two with Tohru quizzically staring from one to the other, Uraraka knew that her appetite was long gone too.
"What's going on?" Momiji whispered to Mina. "I'm hungry."
"Me too little bunny. Me too." Mina sadly rubbed her growling belly.
"Fine." Abruptly turning on her heel Uraraka nearly collided with Kyo since she hadn't expected to see him and the others walking down until she felt him place both his hands on her shoulder to try and steady her from falling flat on her butt. "EEP!"
"Hey watch it!" he incredulously shouted refusing to be caught off guard again with another accident.
"S-sorry." She stammered, blushing hard as soon as she understood who it was with. The memory was still fresh in her mind, which Bakugo didn't like when he finally turned to see what all the ruckus was about. "I didn't see you there!"
"Well how about next time you just watch where you're going alright." Kyo's voice lowered and became gentler when he realized she was just as embarrassed as he was.
"Um Kyo...?"
"Hmm?" Kyo was so focused on the way that Tohru was freely cooking with this new guy that his grip on Uraraka's shoulder involutedly tightened since he hadn't been aware he was still holding her until the blonds eyes dangerously narrowed into slits before Kyo removed his hands. "Oh sorry."
"It's quite alr-"
"Maybe you should listen to your own damn words and try to keep those hands to yourself asshole." Bakugo forced out between gritted teeth as Kyo glared back.
"Hey, what's going on? I'm starving." Kirishima tiredly rubbed his eyes.
"Shh we're not saying anything right now." Momiji placed his finger on his own lips.
"Um why?"
"Bakugo's still in one of his moods where he can't distinguish between his own ego and his inability to handle things calmly." Mina explained.
"So what? A typical day?" Kaminari lazily draped his arm over Kirishima's shoulder with teasing grin.
"You know I've just had about enough of you." Bakugo took a threatening step forward.
"Yeah, well feeling's mutual." Kyo angrily snapped back.
"Hey guys..."
"WHAT?!" They both shouted in unison just as Kirishima raised his hands in surrender.
