I think like Helmet she also wasn't initially doing the best mentally and The Incident made her worse. I'm not sure exactly what her deal was but I'll. Figure it out 🤨🤨🤨 unfortunately her personality started out as "shy but sweet and kind girly" and it never really developed past that 😔😔😔 I gave her anxiety and severe trauma but that's about it. I do feel like that's part of why she and Helmet are so fucked up though. Neither of them adjusted to life after being rescued because I guess neither of them had good support systems other than each other. And because they only had each other, their dynamic couldn't evolve past what it was during their time in captivity. They care about each other and I don't think that'll ever change but idk if they really even know each other. A lot of who they are as individuals and before The Incident has been lost bc the trauma is a core part of their dynamic/behavior. 1000 yard stare out of a window. I think it's kinda funny when these two were first made they were just normal friends. Helmet was still overprotective and PJ still relied on him a lot but it was very simple. Now it's just fucked up 😭😭😭 I think as I write their interactions with other characters, Helmet and PJ's individual, healed personalities will naturally come out bc part of what they need is literally just exposure to other people and having relationships outside of each other. The other part is professional therapy but that can come later.

D20 !!!!!!!!! MY SECOND FAVE GAMBLER !!!!!!!!!!!!! Another case of natural appearance changing a lot over time LOL. His human name is really stupid it's like Drake Daniel Gatsby Dungeon. Drake Dungeon for Dungeons & Dragons. Daniel is actually for RTGame LOL bc Dan has a gambling bit and I thought that would be funny to reference even though no one but me is gonna get it. Gatsby is for Jay Gatsby. Like the guy from The Great Gatsby. When I was designing him I was looking at Leonadro DiCaprio for the hair reference so I wanted to reference that in his name too. LOL
His design is more angular bc of the d20 shape but I just wanted him to look like a slick casino dealer. Also I think if I were to give anyone in the cast the blonde hair blue eyes treatment it would be this guy. OH also he no longer has probability changing powers like he did in his OG version. This is for lore reasons + it didn't add much to his character I feel so I was like 🤨🤨 other than that he's pretty much the same ^_^ sillychill grown ass man who's also really superstitious. Again not the most complex character but it's okay bc he's silly LMAO. I do feel like there's some things to unpack with the whole superstition thing but I haven't dug that deep yet. But the thought is there.
