Sister Winchester

Nightmare.

She was only 10 years old when her mother died and her life fell apart.
She was up reading a book, which she did often, even though she wasn't supposed to. She was reading her favorite, charlotte's web, when she heard her door open, she looked up to see her little brother Dean standing there.
"Nightmare again" she asked.
He nodded.
"Come here." She pat the space next to her.
Dean crawled in the bed and rested his head on her shoulder.
They slept peacefully for awhile until she was woken up by her mother screaming. Panic struck and she quickly woke Dean up and they both ran to the nursery to see the worst sight. Their mother was in flames on the ceiling. John handed Sam to Kiera and instructed her to run as far as she could outside. She did. She grabbed deans hand and led him outside without looking back. John quickly followed.
Together they stood, watching as the firefighters went in and put out the fire. It was too late. Mom was gone.
The following weeks, John stayed out late, leaving Kiera to watch over Sam and Dean. She had no idea what , She only knew how to change diapers because she had helped her mom occasionally. She learned how to make sandwiches and how to mix formula. She taught Dean how to read, or atleast tried to. Deans nightmares continued but now she also had them. She learned to push them away so she could be strong for her brothers. Luckily she loved reading so she always had a bedtime story for Dean.
John dragged them around the U.S dropping them off at different Motels and running off to do what he called "jobs." He never said anything about these places he was going. She meet some of the people who he worked with, many of them were strange, and she didn't like them very much, however there was one man she met who she liked and he slowly became like a father to her. Bobby singer. She was 18 at the time and had been like a mother to her brothers for so long, so when she finally got some time to herself she was relieved. She could finally be a sister for once.

John had started to tell her about the reason why he was gone for weeks at a time. She was shocked and thought he was lying. It took a lot of convincing until she finally believed him. She was 12 when she learned the truth, 14 when she started training, and 16 when she went on her first hunt.
