What in the hell?!

(This is my second book, I will be updating both this one and the other one but I feel like my last one is flopping badly so hopefully this will boost it and I hope this book is as good as the other, anyways bye bye enjoy reading!)

Y/n pov

Just some random ass day in Tokyo, and a shitty day at work as always, I was walking home after work in shibuya as normal when everyone started shouting and looking up, I didn't care and just wanted to get home as soon as possible, when all of a sudden a huge explosion happened and I blacked out.

Next thing I know I wake up in this random ass place in the middle of Tokyo, I started getting up and looking around and not a soul was in sight, which was odd because there was a bunch of people in Tokyo at this time of day, and plus I had just seen everyone so it was kind of crazy to see everyone gone. I didn't know what else to do so I walked around for a while, trying to take in the surroundings. After some time it had gotten pretty dark and a screen displayed on one of the big ass screens in Tokyo, it had the words "Game Center" and it had a arrow showing which way to go, and as I looked in that direction it had looked like a big apartment complex that was lit up, the doors were blue and from where I was at it was easy to see, so I walked over hoping to find atleast someone to figure out where I was at and where everyone went and just hoping I wasn't in this world alone.

So I walked to the apartment complex, I was walking way faster than I usually was, and as I got to the apartments I had spotted some people, and a table with phones, obviously I had picked one up since I didn't have a phone ever since I had gotten here, I turned it on and it did a face recognition, I had something called visas and somehow I had 3 of them, so I decided to go up to someone and ask what this was all about and what's happening. He had shoulder length white hair and a white jacket on with some shorts, he seemed the most calm out of all of them and didn't seem mean or anything so I asked him.
"Hey do you mind telling me what the hell is going on here and why everyone else left Tokyo?" He just looked up at me with no expression. And he didn't say anything after a while so I just said never mind and walked away. But before I went to go ask someone else he finally spoke up.
"If you follow me during this game I'll tell you. And answer your question just now isn't a good time" he said again with little to no expression but he was looking at me.
"Alright... do you mind if I stand with you then?" I asked shyly, I didn't know if I should trust this guy or not but at the same time I needed those answers.
"Sure" he replied. So I stood near him and it took a while for the game to start and for everyone to get in the arena. After that our phone screens lit up with the words. "Tag". We had almost more than 2 hours to finish the game. There was bombs placed somewhere in the complex and if we didn't find the right door and button before the time ran out we'd all die. And just after the instructions we announced the timer began. And the guy started walking towards an elevator so I kind of just followed along. He had waited for me to get inside before pressing the 7th floor button. And shortly after that we had arrived. He turned left to a little balcony area that showed the whole apartment complex. Each door and each hallway just not the stairs. He casually just posted up against the railing watching everyone. I did the same and just watched for a bit. But I still got curious about my questions so I decided at ask again.
"Can you answer my questions now?" I said in a low mono tone voice not trying to scare him or anything.
"Well for starters maybe I can get your name?" He asked
"It's y/n, and yours?"
"Chishiya"
"Cool name"
"Thanks, so anyway what were your questions, but I can't promise I have all the answers." He said nonchalantly
"Alright... well first off what happened to everyone else in Tokyo and how come were the only people here?"
"Well I don't know what happened to everyone else but I'm guessing we're here to play games for days, and each game you play adds to your visa which count how many days you live in here, the group I'm in calls this place the borderlands. But it's hard to explain." He replied. I was a bit shaken up not gonna lie but now that I knew the games were necessary I'd have to play most of them just to live.
"Okay... another question. What's this group your in?" I asked curiously
"I'm not really supposed to say, but from meeting you I can tell you have no bad intentions so I'll make a deal with you, if we survive this game I'll talk to aguni and see if we can bring you back with us, but your gonna have to meet hatter once we get there, he's the leader."
"Okay alot of names I don't know but I'm willing to atleast find out, thanks for answering my questions tho." I said as I looked back to the people in the apartment complex, I just now realized there was a person in a horse mask carrying a gun and from what I could tell there was already a few people dead but what most stood out was when some dude in a baseball cap was running in a hallway he was starting to get shot at, but the horse guy was 2 stories higher and was sort of shooting around the door. Which was odd because why would he shoot at a distance when he's only supposed to find them face to face. And I could tell chishiya thought the same so I asked him about it
"Don't you think it's weird on how the tagger was shooting from a distance? like they didn't want that guy to get through that door, and not to mention all of the bullets around the door."
He looked at me kind of suprised after I asked that but he just turned away and looked down for the people again.
"I didn't think anyone else would notice that, good eye." He said calmly again.
"But yes it is weird maybe the button is in that room, let's go check it out"
He said making his way to the elevator again and pressing another button to take us into the lower parts of the arena. Once we got the the door the horse guy wasn't in sight so we opened the door and to my dismay there we're obviously someone in the room, but before I could even see them I heard a shocking sound and when I turned I saw chishiya with a taser and the guy was on the floor. I nodded in this direction as we opened the other door checking out the room and the were another person in a horse mast but this time it was up to me to finish them off. I didn't have any weapons but I had done boxing, and wrestling so I just did what came to mind, they came at me with a gun so I grabbed that arm and twisted it back, they dropped the gun so I grabbed it and aimed it at their head, but firstly I took off the mask to see who was underneath it, and to my surprise it wasn't anyone I knew so I pulled the trigger, I was a AK so it went off multiple times, I have no clue where I got the confidence to do that because I would've never done that on a normal day, but after I did I saw chishiya just standing there, not really in shock but i could tell he was trying to process what happened, but he shook it off and we both walked up to the buttons, I got the left side and he had the right side, and not long after that we both had cleared the game.
"Nice work, kind of brutal tho" he said out of the blue.
"Thank I guess, I wasn't planning on doing that but when I did i honestly didn't realize what I had done until after." I said as calm as him.
"Well we should probably go find aguni, follow me" he said as we walked to the elevator again and went to the bottom floor, in which there was people there with cars. Shortly after arriving he walked up to some bald dude which I'm guessing is aguni and asked if I could tag along with them.
"Do you have any weapons in your packets?" Aguni asked me
"No sir I don't" I replied trying to stay calm, he told me to put my hands up and he pat me down and told me to empty my pockets, and I complied and did what he told me to do, once he saw I didn't have anything and could be trusted he told me to get in one of the cars with chishiya and we'd have a meeting in the morning.
"Thank you sir" I said as I walked away to chishiya.
"He told me just to get in one of the cars with you and a meeting would be held in the morning." I told chishiya.
He didn't have anything expression but he simply just nodded
"Follow me then, I also figure out what room to give you until the morning." He said bluntly
"Alright thanks." I said back. He didn't say anything else he just walked towards one of the cars, opened the door and waited for me to get in, and once everyone was in the car we drove away. I was really tired so I just waited till we got to that place chishiya was talking about. And once we arrived it was huge and looked like a big motel. Once we had gotten out of the cars and inside the place he showed me to a room and told me goodnight, I said the same and layed down on my bed, I didn't care honestly I was so tired and not shortly after my head it the pillow I was fast asleep.
