Hiya 👋👋 I started to write this in December 2024, after trying and failing to write a full length novel, and then a short story collection. But, you know, shit happens, and I just couldn't write.
I logged back into Wattpad in February 2025, determined to find myself again. So, I rewrote (slightly) what I already had, and I finished the story.
It's not great. It's under a thousand words. I hate the ending. But I want something to be OUT THERE. To feel like I've accomplished something.
To all of the aspiring writers out there: don't give up. Even if what you wrote is the shittiest thing on earth, at least one person out there wants to read it. Even if your character is called Ebony Dark'ness Dementia Raven Way and allegedly looks like Amy Lee.
Every roller coaster has a starting point and a finish line. But rollercoasters would be pretty boring if there weren't ups and downs and loop-the-loops along the way. They wouldn't even exist if there were blips. But those blips can be fixed (mostly), and compromises can be made. So get back in your cart, bitch! Keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle.
And read the first story I've ever finished :)
