Kara rolled under the blankets, sleep calling her name once again. She can always just study later. Sleep came and she fell under it's spell. 4 hours later, she woke up. But something was wrong. It tasted different. The atmosphere. And it wasn't her synesthesia. It was smoke. She shot up from her bed and barged through her door. She sighed when she saw it was just Dabi cooking. With a man that controls fire, he can't cook for shit sometimes.

"Need help?" She asked, approaching Dabi who was panicking.

"Nah. It's fine." He said as flames erupted from the pan and lit the cabinet on fire, which dabi put out with a towel. Im guessing this happened a lot.

"Kurogiri will be pissed if he sees the cabinet like that." Dabi shivered. Last time he did this he put quirk restraining gloves on him and teleported him to the arctic for an hour.

"Can you help?"

"Fuck no."

"Kill yourself."

"Meet your dad." That shut him up. She grabbed an apple juice from the small fridge and took it back to her room. It tasted red. She sat in her chair and opened her books.

A few hours go by and 3 knocks are heard from her door, making Kara jump from the sudden noise. She gets up from her desk and walks to the door, opening it. Toga is there in a chefs apron and hat with a French mustache is on. "Dinna is serv'd" she said, in her best french accent, serving the small snacks on a platter. She failed.

"Merci." Kara replied, with a curtsey. She took the platter and opened the door for Toga to enter. The platter was placed on Kara's nightstand, which was just a pile of books.

"How is it going?"

"I wanna kill myself."

"Not good. Ok."

"I know all of this but i just don't wanna do it again."

"You know it?"

"Well math, yeah. Japanese and English is what's kicking my ass. Neither of these are my first language."

"You'll be fiiine. How's science?"

"I haven't touched it yet."

"That was my best subject. Anatomy too."

"I would figure."

"Hey what does that mean?"

"Nada. Oi, what time is Kurogiri making dinner?"

"Maybe in an hour? Why?"

"Can he pleaaaaase make some Birria Tacos?"

"In Japanese please."

"I legit don't know how to say it in Japanese." Kara grabbed her phone and sent Toga a picture of the tacos. "Just show him this."

"Mkay. I'll let you study more." Toga skipped out.

"Thanks for the food!" Kara took some snacks to her desk and continued. She was almost done with English.

2 hours passed and the snacks were long gone. She was exhausted. Science was also kicking her ass cause why does she need to learn about cells? She couldn't remember the different types of things in the cells and what they do. Looking at science made her green.

"Kara." A deep voice said, literally making her jump out of her chair.

"Mierda Santa!" She screamed. Kurogiri was phasing through her door. "WHAT?!" She yelled again.

"I apologize for startling you. I wanted to let you know that your-" he took a second to find the words. "birera tacos are ready." Close enough.

"Fuck yes." She got up and went to the door. Kurogiri phased out and walked away so she could walk to the kitchen. She didn't. She ran. She felt blue from running but saw the tacos and immediately cheered up. It was now blood orange. It had everything she wanted. The juices were juicing. It was glorious. Kara ate happily and probably, one of the most genuine smiles all day. She, however, wasn't excited to return to that desk.

That desk and chair would be her new home for the next week before physical training.

She was dreading it.
