Harshit x Mayank [Pt.1?]

I was sitting at last seat in the corner ready for the exam. It hadn't started yet so I was yk doing absolutely nothing.
We were sitting with the 11th-ies, well I wasn't, the number of students from 11 didn't reach my row. After a while Gaurav sir, our sst teacher came with a few students who hadn't found a seat yet(in other rooms) so he came to our room.
Mayank sir, physics teacher, who was our invigilator, made them sit, and one of them was in my row. He sat in the front seat with rashi(class topper's frn), well she kind of did not care about his seatmate.
I didn't know his name(I did after exam) but he was quite bulked I mean I wouldn't say he had abs or smth but fit and bulked, almost the same height as mayank sir or taller, not so bad looking...
After a while Mayank told the 11th students that there are much parts in the paper where they can achieve marks and then he saw that student who seemed quite confident and mayank decided to walk over to him.
He leaned on the table, and asked him, "Sab padha hai?" while smirking.
Harshit responds, "Ha sir... ji~" and his lips turn into a smirk too. (Well that's what I saw from the back seat)
"Accha.. acche ayenge marks?" said mayank, intently leaning much forward on the table and closing the distance between them, their faces almost 6 inches away(not so close but it actually happened).
He moved forward, "Apko kya lagta h, sir ji?".
There was silence for some time, but Harshit just broke it trying not to provoke the teacher, "Ache se zyada ache launga sir~ dekhte rho aap.." he says looking confident and kind of smug.
"Huh- *scoffs* chalo dekhte hai fir" mayank sir said as he stood back up.
It was time for distributing the paper and he did so.
The exam went on and ofcourse I kept glancing for some action 👀 but hold up✋ I sensed minimal flirting every few moments, they kept giving each other looks even if it was just watching each other-
Gaurav sir came to give something to Mayank and guess what he exchanged his jacket with Gaurav sir's coat and it wasn't like that too, the coat really belonged to Mayank that meant he changed it before this too 👄 😔
Was he tryna make Harshit jealous??!
Well, as you'd guess Harshit did try to look out but he didn't get a good look at them probably because he was writing his paper.
And well yes I saw mayank smiling after that. Was he actually that happy he made someone jealous(let's say allegedly cuz you never know)??
I think he did cuz Harshit kept glancing out like there will be another chance at getting to know who it was but ig he didn't (Idk, was writing my own paper😭)
There was some convo after he was done I'm not sure what they talked about(probably study or stuff, again cuz I was writing my paper) but they seemed to be smiling a lot 👀👀👀
It was finally the time to submit the answer sheets and after that I did see them talking but who knows what happened next???
