Because despite everything—the bickering, the rivalry, the constant denial—he knew he’d be back.

And that was the real problem.

Scene: Sehun Starts Catching Feelings

Sehun wasn’t sure when it started.

Maybe it was the way Baekhyun always left before sunrise, slipping out like a secret Sehun wasn’t allowed to keep. Or the way he rolled his eyes in meetings, always ready with a sharp remark that made Sehun want to kiss him just to shut him up.

Or maybe it was the way Baekhyun laughed when he thought no one was listening—soft, unguarded, nothing like the sharp-edged man he pretended to be.

Whatever it was, it was getting worse.

Sehun knew the rules. No emotions. No strings. But lately, it wasn’t just about the physical relief anymore. He started noticing little things.

How Baekhyun’s perfume lingered in his sheets. How the apartment felt too quiet when Baekhyun wasn’t there. How his eyes automatically searched for him in a crowded room.

And worst of all—how much he hated watching Baekhyun flirt with other people.

It happened at another gala, another corporate event where everyone dressed to impress and played their little games. Baekhyun, as always, looked breathtaking. Dressed in an all-black suit, his hair styled back, he moved through the room effortlessly—laughing, drinking, charming everyone in his path.

Including some rich heir whose hand lingered too long on Baekhyun’s wrist.

Sehun clenched his jaw, fingers tightening around his whiskey glass. He told himself it wasn’t his business. Baekhyun could do whatever he wanted.

But when the guy leaned in, whispering something against Baekhyun’s ear, Sehun saw red.

Before he could stop himself, he was striding across the room.

Baekhyun turned just as Sehun grabbed his wrist, yanking him away from the conversation. "Excuse us," Sehun said flatly, not even sparing the other man a glance.

Baekhyun raised a brow as Sehun dragged him onto the balcony. "Jealous much?"

Sehun scoffed. "Don’t flatter yourself."

Baekhyun smirked. "Then what’s your problem?"

Sehun exhaled sharply, letting go of Baekhyun’s wrist. He didn’t have an answer. Or at least, not one he was willing to admit.

Baekhyun studied him for a moment before tilting his head. "You’re acting weird."

Sehun looked away, running a hand through his hair. "Just… be careful who you flirt with."

Baekhyun blinked, then laughed. "Oh my god, you are jealous."

Sehun scowled. "I am not—"

Baekhyun stepped closer, eyes glinting with amusement. "You do realize we’re not exclusive, right?"

Sehun’s stomach twisted. He knew that. Of course, he knew that. But the thought of Baekhyun with someone else made his blood boil.

"Whatever," Sehun muttered, turning to leave.

But before he could, Baekhyun caught his tie, pulling him back. Their faces were close now, Baekhyun’s voice dropping to something softer, almost teasing before kissing him.

Scene: Sehun’s Growing Frustration – Baekhyun Remains Oblivious

Sehun was losing control.

It wasn’t supposed to be like this. Their arrangement had been simple—casual, convenient, no feelings involved. But lately, everything about Baekhyun was messing with his head.
