Nandini caressed his face.
Nandini: "I'm yours, Manik."
That was all it took.
Their clothes slowly disappeared as they explored each other, their hands mapping every inch of skin, every curve, every sensation.
Manik worshipped her body, making her feel like she was the only woman in the world. Every touch, every kiss, every movement was filled with unspoken emotions.
Soon, he entered inside her!
Nandini held onto him, feeling every heartbeat, every whispered moan against her skin. She had never seen him so vulnerable, so desperate to hold onto something real.
Manik kept thrusting into her without stopping for hours.
As they finally became one, Manik buried his face in her neck, whispering her name like a prayer.
And for the first time in days, he felt at peace.
Because Nandini was here.
And she wasn't going anywhere.
He stayed inside her and slept in that position only!! Nandini let him complete his wish. And slept feeling him. Hugging him.
--------------
As the morning light filtered through the curtains, Nandini began to stir. Her body ached slightly, but the warmth of Manik still pressed against her chest brought a sense of comfort. She shifted gently, feeling his weight still on top of her, his body tangled with hers, and she took a deep breath, recalling the events of the night before.
But as she tried to move, Manik groggily woke up. His eyes were bleary, his mind foggy from the alcohol, and he blinked in confusion as he realized the position they were in.
Manik: "What... what happened last night?" His voice was rough, unsteady, as he stared down at their bodies. The fog of last night was slowly lifting, and the shame and confusion replaced it.
He immediately tried to pull back, disoriented, but his movements were slow, almost frantic. As he lifted himself off her, he looked down at Nandini with a mix of guilt and uncertainty.
Manik: "I... I don't remember much."
Nandini lay there, staring up at him, her heart sinking in her chest. His words pierced through her. She had been there, comforting him, holding him when he was at his lowest, and yet now, he was pulling away-acting as though last night was just an escape for him, a release for his pain.
Her voice trembled, though she tried to remain steady.
Nandini: "You were drunk, Manik. You were hurting, and I was here. I wanted to be here for you."
Manik looked at her, his face flushed with guilt and confusion. His eyes avoided hers, filled with regret.
Manik: "I... I never meant to hurt you, but I didn't want this to happen."
He was apologizing, but Nandini couldn't shake the sting in her chest. Despite everything she had given him, it seemed like he was still holding back, still not fully seeing her, still wrapped up in the ghost of Alia. It was clear now-he still wasn't ready to love her, not in the way she had hoped. Last night had been a release for him, a way to forget his pain, and she had just been a part of that.
Nandini swallowed the lump in her throat, forcing herself to sit up slowly. Her eyes welled up with tears, though she fought to keep them at bay.
Nandini: "I thought... I thought you needed me. But now, I see you don't remember anything. You didn't want it to happen... Maybe I was just someone you turned to because you were broken."
