Nandini: "Manik, what is this? Why did you do this to yourself?"

Still, no response.

She sighed, struggling to balance his weight, and slowly helped him upstairs. After much effort, she guided him into their bedroom and made him sit on the bed. Gently, she removed his shoes and loosened his shirt to make him comfortable.

Just as she was about to pull the blanket over him, he grabbed her wrist.

Manik: "Nandini..."

His voice was weak, broken. She turned to him, concern filling her eyes.

Nandini: "Yes, Manik?"

Tears welled up in his eyes as he whispered:

Manik: "Will you also leave me like Alia did?"

Nandini froze.

She looked into his eyes and saw nothing but raw pain. The pain of losing someone he once loved, the pain of betrayal, the pain of not knowing who to trust anymore.

Nandini sat beside him and held his face in her hands.

Nandini: "No, Manik. I will never leave you."

Manik: "Promise me..."

Nandini: "I promise."

His grip on her wrist tightened as tears slipped down his face.

Manik: "Why did she leave me, Nandini? Was I not enough?"

Nandini shook her head.

Nandini: "She didn't deserve you, Manik. You were too good for her. She never truly valued your love."

Manik rested his forehead against hers, his breathing uneven.

Manik: "I'm scared... I don't want to be alone again."

Nandini: "You will never be alone. I'm here. Always."

Their faces were close, the warmth of her breath brushing against his skin. Manik stared at her-at the sincerity in her eyes, the way she held him like he was the most precious thing in the world.

In that moment, something shifted inside him.

A need.

A deep, desperate need to feel something other than pain.

Slowly, he leaned in.

His lips brushed against hers, hesitant at first, seeking comfort rather than passion.

Nandini didn't pull away. Instead, she cupped his face, deepening the kiss, pouring all her emotions into it. She wanted him to know he wasn't alone. That she was there, and she would always be there.

Manik pulled her closer, his fingers tracing the curve of her waist, feeling the warmth of her body against his. His hands ran through her hair as the kiss became more intense, more desperate.

Nandini gasped when he suddenly flipped her onto the bed, hovering over her. His lips moved to her jawline, then down to her neck, leaving a trail of soft kisses.

Nandini: "Manik..."

He looked up at her, his eyes dark with emotion.

Manik: "Tell me to stop, Nandini... and I will."

His voice was thick with restraint, his hands trembling as they traced the curve of her back. But she didn't want him to stop.

She shook her head, her voice barely a whisper. "I don't want you to stop, Manik."
