Nandini turned to him, rolling her eyes but unable to hide her smile.

Nandini: "Can you blame me? This place is magical!"

Manik chuckled, nodding in agreement.

Manik: "That’s true."

After the long journey, exhaustion had settled over them. They had a quiet dinner, the conversation light yet comfortable. A quiet understanding that they were trying.

Deciding to rest, they agreed to explore the farmhouse properly the next day.

**The Next Morning**

Nandini woke up early, stretching lazily as she turned to see Manik still fast asleep. His face looked calm, the usual sharpness of his features softened in slumber. She smiled slightly before slipping out of bed, careful not to wake him.

Wrapped in a cozy sweater, she wandered through the farmhouse, exploring every corner.

Then, she found *it*.

The glass-enclosed indoor pool.

Her eyes widened in awe

Her eyes widened in awe. The water shimmered under the golden lights, and beyond the transparent walls, the world outside was draped in snow. It was the perfect contrast—cold meeting warmth.

A sudden excitement bubbled inside her. Without wasting another second, she rushed back to her room, changing into a plush bathrobe. She could already imagine the bliss of sinking into the warm water.

Slipping off the robe, she stepped toward the pool, her red bikini hugging her body perfectly. The water welcomed her like a soft embrace as she waded in, closing her eyes in pure relaxation.

Unbeknownst to her, Manik had woken up minutes after she left. Finding the room empty, he instinctively went to search for her, eventually following the faint ripples of water.

And then he saw her.

Nandini, floating effortlessly, her face serene as she swam through the heated pool. Her wet hair clung to her back, droplets of water trailing down her skin. The red of her bikini stood out against the golden hues of the water, making her look almost ethereal.
