Clean Up

Oliver, standing next to ∆lice's door, pulled down a piece of paper that was taped to the door with the word 'Exit' on it. He started to laugh about how this 'little' prank he made with Zip when they were interrupted by Miss. Circle saying "Zip, Oliver. What are you doing?" They both looked up at her with a surprised expression that quickly turned into a nervous one. Zip looked up at Oliver, expecting him to say something.

"We were- uhm..... Uh... er clean.... off the blood from ∆lice's door!" Oliver said, forcing a smirk, looking up at the three annoyed teachers. "Did you do this?" asked Miss. Circle, referring to the sign Oliver was holding that caused Claire's death. "I- uh" Oliver quickly shoved the paper into Zip's arms, who quickly looked up at him with slight annoyance. "Yeah, we did.... BUT! What difference does it make? You were probably going to eat her anyway." Oliver crosses his arms, his nervousness fading. Miss Circle rolls her eyes, Zip and Oliver were so lucky to be the teachers' favorites. Miss. Thavel looked at them with a cold expression "Clean this up, now." she said. Zip and Oliver reluctantly nodded.

The three strict teachers walk away and Oliver turns to Zip. "Told ya this would work eventually." he said with his usual smirk. Zip just laughed softly, "Yeah, yeah. Let's go to the janitor's closet to get some of the cleaning supplies." She added. Oliver nodded in agreement. They both started walking down the hall Claire was chased in.

They had just reached the end of it, when Engel came sprinting up to them, tears of anger and sadness running down his face as he yelled "WHY? OUT OF ALL THE PEOPLE HERE, WHY? WHY HER? I FUCKING HATE YOU, OLIVER!" Oliver and Zip were shocked, they didn't think Engel could get this mad. Engel attempted to grab Oliver, but Oliver pushed him hard, making Engel fall. Zip took a step back, not wanting to get hurt. Engel coughed a bit, a little blood came out but he didn't care, he was too upset. Panting and sobbing, Engel tried to stand up, but he was too dizzy and shaking so much he had to lean on a wall.

Oliver backed up to Zip, and they both looked at each other, then at Engel like he was insane. The right side of his face was bruised and he was crying a bit of blood out of his right eye from when Miss. Circle hit him with her drawing compass. Then suddenly, Miss. Sasha and Miss. Emily come from down the hall where everyone else was, rushing to Engel's side. "Let's get you to the nurse" Miss. Sasha said, putting her hand on Engel's shoulder. Engel slowly turned around, his breath shaky with sobs.

When the teachers and Engel left, Oliver and Zip turn to each other. "What the hell was his problem?" Zip said. "I don't fuckin' know, she was gonna die anyways since she was failing" he added. "Yeah, like, it's not our fault," she said. They continued walking down the hall, when Zip spoke up "Hey, Oli? Where's Edward? Wasn't he just with us in the library?" "Oh yeah, you're right. Yeah, I don't know where he is.... Whatever, we'll find him after we clean up Claire's dead body." He said with a shrug as they kept walking.

Eventually, they got to the janitor closet and got some buckets, mops, and a trash can. Zip sighed, not wanting to have to deal with this, "Come on, let's go" Oliver said. "Alright, I'm coming," Zip replied. They were both carrying something as they finally reached Claire's body. Zip wanted to gag from the smell, but forced herself not to. "The sooner we get this over with the sooner we can find Edward" Oliver said, Zip nodded with a disgusted expression.

Oliver felt a weird sense of pride, knowing that his girlfriend was powerful enough to do this. He was practically used to the gore and smell of rotting meat, so this wasn't so bad, but Zip, she wasn't doing as well as Oliver was. Oliver set the trash can down, "Here, I'll put the body parts in the trash can, you can clean up the blood," "ok, thanks..." she said, happy that she didn't have to touch any of the bloody, torn up body parts. "Geez man, your girlfriend is a messy eater," she said with a smirk. "Hey! Shut up!" Oliver retorted. Zip had started to clean up the blood, but Oliver was just staring at the body, not even knowing where to begin. 'Did ∆lice have to leave the body here??' He thought.

He picked up Claire's bloody, torn off shin by the ankle, looking at the bone that was sticking out of the top, then tossed it into the trash. "Why do we have to do this? Couldn't the teachers just eat the rest of it and lick the blood off the floor or something??" He said in annoyance. Zip snickered, "Yeah, isn't Miss Circle a cat- wait, what if we just put Oreos on the body!" "Zip, do you have a bunch of Oreos on you?" "I- did not think about that...." Oliver laughed as Zip groaned in annoyance. "We. Need. Oreos. RIGHT. NOW!!!" she said, making Oliver laugh harder.
Oliver, who was wheezing while trying to catch his breath "ok, ok, I'll go see if I can find any Or-" "YOU ARE NOT LEAVING ME WITH THIS!" Zip said, referring to Claire's body "OK! OK! Geez, I was kidding" he said, nudging Zip with his elbow. Zip just rolls her eyes and starts cleaning the blood again.

Oliver picked up Claire's head and looked at Zip."Hey Zip..." he said with an evil smirk. Zip turned around and before she could react, Oliver held up Claire's head in one hand, the other on her jaw to puppet her while saying "I"m Claire and even though I hang out with all the nerds, my grades are ass!" Zip started laughing after Oliver did that "Dude! That's so gross and wrong!" Oliver just laughed and threw the head in the trash like he was shooting a basketball in a hoop.

A long while later, they finally cleaned the blood and the corpse, they just left the mop, the bucket of bloody water, and trash can against a wall for someone else to deal with. They did enough..... or at least they thought they did. They were starting to walk back, when Oliver suddenly spoke up "Weren't we gonna try to find Edward?" "Oh yeah," Zip replied, "We probably should go find him." Oliver nodded in agreement.

After a bit of walking, they find Edward in the science room while Miss. Bloomie isn't there. Zip and Oliver both looked shocked and annoyed to see Edward just chilling and waiting for them. "Dude, WHAT THE FUCK?!" Oliver yelled, "Where were you???" Zip added. "Guys chill, I was just in here. Did something happen? I thought we were supposed to meet here."
