Texting for the First Time

Jose: I'm so sorry but I have to go :(( I have soccer practice tonight and I need to get ready :( but I will text you when I'm done. bye babe 💘

Me: Awe bye love ❤️

My whole conversation with Jose made me so happy. I'm so lucky to have him. After I finished talking to him, I made some chocolate chip cookies and turned on the TV.

Jose's POV: After telling Lauren I was just so happy and relieved. She's just so amazing and I'm so lucky to have her. I have soccer practice tonight at 6:30 and I hope I make some friends there. I'm actually a little excited. I think that I'm pretty good at soccer. I've been playing since I was 10 and I'll be 15 in a couple months. Cause it's October 10 and my birthday is January 18. When I got home I ran to my room, did my homework quickly, and watched some YouTube videos. While I was watching Connor Franta's new video, I got a text from somebody.

Lauren: Hey. It's Lauren :))

Me: Hey beautiful :) How are you?

Lauren: Better now 😊 how are you babe?

Me: I'm great! I'm texting my beautiful, amazing girlfriend that I love! :)

Lauren: Awe omg Jose stop it you're making me blush 😊

Me: That's a good thing. Isn't it?

Lauren: Yeah I guess haha

Me: So, did you ask Emily is she wanted to come?

Lauren: Yeah! She said that she would love to come!

Me: That's great! You wanna go tomorrow night? I can walk to y'all's houses at maybe... 5:30? We can walk to go get dinner and then we'll walk to the fair. I wanna get to know both of you more. Emily seems really cool :)

Lauren: Awe Jose you don't have to take us to dinner!

Me: But I want to! You're my new girlfriend and I want to take my new best buds out to dinner 💗

Lauren: Awe you're so sweet :)) thank you so much ❤️

Me: No problem my love.

I looked at the time

I got ready for soccer and waited for my mom to drive me.
When I got to practice I was a little bit early. There was another guy sitting on the bench on his phone near the field. I started walking over to him. As I got closer I realized that I had seen him at school a couple times. I didn't know his name or anything, but I'd seen him in the cafeteria a couple times. I don't think he was in any of my classes. I sat down next to him. He looked up from his phone as I sat. "Hey." He said putting his phone away. "I've seen you around school before, right?" "Yeah." I said. "I'm Jose. I'm new here." "I'm Jaime." He told me. "Cool name." I said a little bit awkwardly. "Thanks." He said back. "So..." He started. "Seen any cute girls around school?" He said with a smirk. "Yeah." I exclaimed. "I actually just got together with Lauren. You know her?" "Lauren?" He said. His eyes wide open. "Yeah." I said. "Why?" "Lauren Allen? She's beautiful oh my god congrats man!" He told me. "Thanks bud!" I said with a smile. "Yeah I'm really lucky to have her. She's so beautiful and amazing. It was love at first sight for both of us." I told him. "You love her?" He asked. "Yeah." I said. "I do. I told her today. And turns out he was gonna tell me the same thing." How long have you known her for?" He asked. "Well I followed her on Instagram before I even knew she lived here and went to our school. When I got to school on the first day, I saw her, the beautiful girl that I saw online. And I was pretty much in love with her. So I followed her on Instagram close to when school started, but I've only like actually known her since school started." Woah dude that's great!" He exclaimed. "I'm so happy for you." He smiled. "Thanks man." I said. We hadn't realized that other guys had started to come. We heard the whistle blow and we got up to start practice.
