Chris sturniolo is we just an ordinary 17 year old boy. He lived in Boston Massachusetts with his mom, dad, triplet brothers (Nick and Matt) and his 24 year old brother, Justin. They had a dog called Trevor and went to high school like any other teenage boy. He loved to sing, draw and play the guitar. He and his triplet brothers were the most popular boys in school. Despite that, they all had good grades and were the nicest people in the school.
It was the first day of school, the triplets' last year at high school. No teenage boy likes going to school but for Chris' triplet brother Matt, it was particularly hard because of his bad anxiety. Their mum, Mary-Lou, liked to make things fun and happy for her boys even when things weren't that way. She knew that none of the triplets would be happy on this Monday morning so she made their favourite breakfast, pancakes. Mary-Lou made her way through the house and woke up each of the triplets. One by one, the boys made them way to the kitchen and were greeted with the sweet smell of pancakes. Not a lot of words were exchanged during breakfast as they were just recovering from their long summer break.
After breakfast, Chris made his way back upstairs to get ready for school. He showered and got dressed into a plain black shirt, black jeans, a black beanie and some air forces. He threw all his stuff in his bag, put on some deodorant and ran downstairs. He grabbed his lunch he'd made the night before and shoved it in his bag and went to see if Matt was ready to drive them to school. After Matt hesitantly agreed he was ready to go, the boys said goodbye to their mom and hopped in the car.
When they arrived at school, their best friend Nathan ran up to them to ask if they'd seen the new guy in their school. "Hey bro have you seen the new guy? Apparently he's rlly weird"
"Dude don't be mean" Chris said in a joking manner.
The boys had science first so they made their way to class. There was a girl in their grade called Georgia who had a massive crush on Chris. She never confessed it, but it was obvious to everyone in the school. She had long, blonde hair and blue eyes. She always wore her hair back in a tight pony tail and wore glasses when down her work. Her best friend Lucy felt the same way about the other straight triplet, Matt. Yet again, she nerve said anything but everyone knew it. She had wavy, brown hair and blue eyes and always wore her hair down. Matt and Chris didn't like the girls back but the girls were oblivious to the fact that they even knew. Everyone was shocked by this because Georgia and Lucy clung to the brothers at every chance they got.
"Is that the new guy you were talking about?" Nick asked as Matt, Chris and Nate all turned their heads. All eyes fell on a guy making his way slowly down the corridor. He was wearing a black Nike tracksuit and black shoes. He had brown curly hair that hung infront of his face and green eyes. He walked around with his head at the ground and his hood up. "Yeah" Nate replied. The new boy walked up to their small group and leaned against the wall next to where Nick was standing.
Georgia and Lucy had the same class as the boys and they made their way over there. "Hey Chris"
Chris looked up to see Georgia. "Hey, you alright?" He asked.
"Yeah you?" Georgia asked getting all fidgety and flustered.
"Good thanks" Chris replies, smiling.
Chris felt awful because he didn't like her back but he felt that he was entertaining this love that she had for him. The truth was, he was just being nice, he acted like that towards anyone in the school
The teacher poked her head out of the door and invited the class in. Matt and Chris were sat together at the back and next to them were two empty seats. Nick and Nathan were sat together at the front with the two girls, Georgia and Lucy. The new guy went up to the teacher to ask where he was supposed to sit. Mrs Miller directed him to sit at the back next to Chris. "Chris gets some of the best grades in my class so if you need any help, just ask him" She smiled.
He nodded his head and made his way over to Chris.
He sat down next to Chris and placed his bag on the chair next to him. Chris turned to him and gave him a small smile. He returned the smile and pulled out his phone. "Hey dude, if you need any help, just let me know and I'll... try my best to help", Chris said in a friendly tone.
"Yeah I know the teacher told me, apparently you get the best grades in the class?" He replied.
"Umm I'm not sure, if she said so then I guess it's true"
Chris was clearly uncomfortable. He didn't like to brag about his grades because he knew his brother Matt felt stupid, even though his grades weren't bad, they weren't as good as Chris or Nick's. "Sorry what's your name?" Chris asked.
"Brandon, yours?"
"I'm Chris, that's Matt and at the front their that's Nick, we're triplets" Chris said while pointing to each of his brothers.
"Right, you seem like the only cool one" Brandon said with a straight face.
"Thanks I guess" Chris replied as he watched Matt's smile drop and his head turn away. Matt already struggled to make friends so hearing the new guy already not like him, did not help with his low self esteem.
Noticing Matt's sudden mood change, he knew he had to say something. "You've only spoken to me though, you've never really met Matt or Nick".
"Yeah but I can just tell, he doesn't talk" he said pointing to Matt. "And Nick, is he like gay or something?"
"Umm Matt has anxiety and doesn't speak to new people and yes, Nick is gay"
"Yes, exactly" Brandon said.
Chris pulled a face and continued to get his stuff out of his bag. After science, Chris stormed out without waiting for anyone.
"What's up with him?" Nate asked.
"The new guy just made some stupid comment"
"Oh right"
Next period was maths, but Chris didn't show up.
"Where's Chris?" Nick asked.
"I don't know, it's not like him to skip class" Matt replied. They just shrugged it off and figured Chris just needed some space and it was better to not go after him. Meanwhile, Chris was sat outside with his back against the wall, scrolling through his phone. "You alright?" A familiar voice called out. It was Georgia.
"Uhh yeah I'm fine why?"
"Well you look pissed and it's not like you to skip class".
"It's not like you either" Chris fired back.
"Okay well I have a doctors appointment, so why aren't you in maths?"
"What are you my mother?"
"Jesus I was just trying to be nice" Georgia said with a frown.
"What was the point of coming in for one lesson and then leaving?"
"My mom made me"
"Okay great well aren't you gonna be late for your doctors appointment? Get moving"
"Chris"
"What?"
"Stop trying to change the subject"
"Sorry...I'm fine just please leave me alone"
"Okay, that's all you had to say, bye"
Chris watched as Georgia walked away. He felt a wave of guilt wash over as he pressed the heels of his hands to his eyes. Chris was a nice person but when he was annoyed, everyone knew about it.
Chris remained sat with his back to the wall, this time he had his knees to his chest and his head down on his knees, alone in his own thoughts. All of a sudden, he felt someone kick his foot. Chris jumped at the sudden pain in his foot and looked up to see who it was. Brandon was stood there staring down at him. Chris didn't have the energy to walk away so he furrowed his brows and watched as Brandon slowly crouched down infront of him. "What's wrong kid?" Brandon asked him.
"Nothing go away", Chris said before clenching his jaw and fist. He wasn't too sure why Brandon got to him so badly, but he did. "Aww did I upset you?" Brandon joked with a pouty face.
Chris felt anger build up inside of him and he went to walk away when he felt himself get dragged back to the ground by his shirt. "I'm not done with you yet, I need your help"
Chris felt his heart drop. Brandon proceeded to tells Chris he was gonna need him at his house.
"I'm good" Chris protested.
"Oh you are going to be there" Brandon demanded and handed Chris a post it note with his address on it. "See you there" he said while fake smiling.
"Fuck sake" Chris muttered before slamming his head back into the wall in frustration.
Hey guys Idk whether you enjoyed this chapter but trust me it gets better as it goes on. I'm not a fan of Fanfiction whatsoever but I write stories as my dream is to be an author but I'm not confident enough to send them to anyone for them to get anywhere so I figured I'd make it into a fan fiction so at least some people will enjoy it.
Thank you:)
