its was a cold night in the south pole, and Korra had just got ready for the night. as she lays in bed she had this edgy feeling...why? well, in a few weeks winter break well end and she'd have to go back to college and more specifically....why she was nervous, well...she was getting a new roommate.
shes was never a super anxious person, and quite frankly was really well known. Its not like she was scared to meet new people, but for some reason she just couldn't shake that feeling of-

as she looks out the window and lets out a sigh, resting her head on her hands before getting a notification on her phone, she looks down and sees a notification from RCU (Republic City University)
"hhm? whats this?" she says. as she reads the new message she soon realizes it about her soon to be roommate.
"Asami Sato?.... Asami.... Sato.... sato... that's sounds oddly famili-" she looks at the back of the train seat in front of her. it says "SATO.co".
"what? no- SURLY thats a coincidence....yeah... theres no way." She sits back in her chair, "with a last name like that, she could go anywhere with the snap of her fingers...theres no way shes my roommate, must be a mixup." the idea pondering in her mind, until her eyes drift shut.

finally when she arrives, Korra walks up to her room, shes never been nervous like this, shes had a roommate before, so why was she so timid. "catch a grip Korra" she says to herself as she unlocks the room. when she walks in there is plenty on new stuff opposite from hers, but other then that...nothing. Korra lets out an exhale, "she must be out right now" she says as she flops down on to her bed, "thank spirits"
but suddenly a tall, slim, fair women with long raven colored hair piercing green eyes entered the room. she just had an entirely different aura... a born and raised city girl. She wasn't the opposite of korra but...she was definitely different. Korra was from a small southern water tribe, and had smooth tanned brown skin and with dark brown hair to match, decently muscular but not as tall.
"ehem. excuse me?" the taller women says, "are you..." she pauses as she studies her "Korra...my roommate?"
Korra quickly sits up, "hhm? oh hi im Korra- well i guess you already know that because you said my name-"
the other girl cuts her off. "lets start over. Hi, i'm Asami. your new roommate" she puts her hand out waiting for a handshake.
Korra shakes her hand "shit why did i do that! my hands are sweaty, why are they sweat- hi...Im Korra, im a second year and uh im from the southern water tribe"
the other girl looks shocked as she sets dome of her stuff down. "really?! the south pole?! your a long way from home. im from here in republic city"
korra chuckles "omg she finds somthing interesting about me, why do j feel so-
yeah i know, but i love it im the city...though i do miss my home sometimes....do...do you have any classes today?"
Asami sits down on her side of the room before responding, "me? no im done with the classes, im just setting up the rest of my things, ya know...getting settled in."
"oh, do you...need help? im free for the rest of the day" Korra responds.
"oh no my butler's will-" Asami quickly stops herself. "actually...yeah, thanks that would help alot...but you dont have to-"
"Nonsense! we have to live together, right?! let me help"

about few hours later most off Asami's...quite expensive looking things are now all in place
korra, now hot and sweaty says, "that should be all....right asami? this is all your stuff" she looks her the taller girl.
"well...." asami says ashamed, in which korra quickly said, "THERES MORE?!" she looks around, "HOW?! how is there more stuff" she chuckles
"yeah sorry...I swear its just one last thing im my car...it's something little i swear" Asami says ashamed. "you swear?.... welll...one more cant hurt". she thinks to herself, "get a roommate,they said...it will be fun, they said....at least she nice....and pretty.....and...and-"
"Korra? Hello? Korra to earth?" Asami says bit worried but still letting out a chuckle. "I swear its no big deal if you've changed your mind, i can get it myself"
"hhm?! Oh! its no biggy, promise."
