It's been a bit since you two split ways. So of course, you weren't really expecting to see Equinox of all people again out of the blue. But can you really say it's surprising, considering her character?
" Ohhh? It's you! ^_^ " She seemingly appeared from right behind you, " Haha, did you really think I wouldn't find you after so long? " And an arm tugged at your waist, bringing you closely to her side. You already recognized who it was the moment she spoke.
" Don't you remember we broke up? " You ask, glaring at her as you tried to pry her hand off you. She only smiled back, tugging you even closer with that taunting expression of hers.
" Aw, well don't be like this, sweets, " Equinox grins, before adding, " It was so boring without you, y'know? >_< " She sighed theatrically.
" Let go.. " You protested, and seeing your expression, she lets out a short huff of laughter, releasing you from her side-hug.
" Loosen up a little. " And she roughly pats you on the back, causing you to stumble forward a few steps, " I just wanted to see how my favorite mortal was doing, that's all. <3 "
" Equinox, I've already told you that I don't want to talk to you anymore, " You spoke slowly, and seeing her now, you're uncertain of your own words.
She stared at you. Her gaze was cold for a moment, searching your expression, before she switched back to her usual grin, " Hm? But is that what you really want? " She leans closer, to gauge your reaction.
" .. " You don't respond immediately, the proximity taking you off guard for a moment. You blush, unsure of an answer. She notices this.
" That's what I thought. Now, c'mon! How about I take you out somewhere, my treat? " She offered with a grin. " Please, doll? Just one dinner? " Equinox pleads with an innocent smile, using an old pet name on you.
Now, can you really just deny her like that? No, not really. And, besides.. If you tried she'd probably drag you along anyway. Equinox took your silence as a yes, and, grabbed your wrist, tugging you along. " Don't worry ~ I'll choose a really nice restaurant, and you can get whatever you want, alriight? " Equinox spoke in a sing-song tone. She seems happy with herself for something.
" ...Sure.. " You replied, and Equinox hummed, pleased with your answer, dragging you off to yet another fancy restaurant to probably make up for the fact you're still mad at her.
