I realise I've been looking up
To the wrong person.
All throughout my struggles,
I've been trying to get motivation
From people who have been succeeding since the start.
But now, with a change of mind.
I've realised the one I should be looking up to was my older cousin.
He hasn't been the best from the start.
Getting low grades, just as I am now,
But he picked himself up
And reached goals no one expected.
And I look up to that now...
Figuring out his strategy.
I think I can do it too.
