It were always nights like these that made me forget everything around me and made me focus only on the People supporting me and singing my songs fluently. I never really thought that I would ever make it that far, but surprise here I am singing my songs in front of millions of people having my ' I made it ' moment, the moment that would be marked red in my calendar from now on. Feeling this warm air touching my sweaty skin, my in-ear peace counting down and playing the metronome and the confetti falling down from the ceiling was a feeling i had wished to feel since I was a teen.
As the last song of the concert ended I took in all of the applause that I heard, it made my skin shiver. A Felling I had wished for since the music got brought back into my life. I went off stage and before I was backstage I bowed to the crowd thanking them for this amazing time we all had together.
The first thing I did was face time my family and I was happy to hear that they watched the concert that I had in Austria
"Great job you did out there, I'm proud of you"
Said my dad smiling to both sides of his ears and the rest of my family waiting behind him to talk to me
"I'm already missing them"
"We can understand that, but now you have four days off, you can relax now"
Said my sister also smiling like crazy. I knew that I couldn't relax, I had to learn some choreography's and write, more likely produce the last song for my next album that I was going to release in two months. After talking to everyone from my family they hung up and I had some time for myself, they knew that I always needed to calm down after a show and that I needed some time for recap, so they left me and Mia came right around the corner so that I could give a quick feedback and a hug to her. She was one of my managers, the special thing about her is, she was there since day one, she's my best friend, my biggest supporter and my sister away from home.
I was on the way to my dressing room as I bumped into a man who was just a few inches taller than me
"Oh sorry, didn't see you"
I said while bowing down as a sign of being sorry
" it's okay, it happens to the best if us"
He said while stroking my upper arm a little bit, to assure that he didn't take it bad.
I took a Quick Look at him and just noticed how friendly he looked, nothing more.
In my dressing room I took out my in-ears and the cables that were attached to my belt in the back.
~sight~ "what a show"
I said to myself letting myself sink into the soft cushions of the sofa, the fresh pictures of the confetti, the crowd and the lights going through my brain and letting me feel the same adrenaline rush once more. I grabbed my water bottle and went to the bathroom, where I poured the water over my head to cool down a bit so I could change and help the team pack the things up, they always said that I should go to the hotel and rest after my shows but I always felt guilty when I left them. I never liked to treat my team like they where my maids, because that's not what they were, they support me and made everything possible so I support them and help them where ever they need help with.
After a long pack-up session I said goodbye to everyone and got into the car that drove me to the hotel, which was not far from the stadium. I went into my room, turned in the Music and listened to a slow and relaxing song that always helped me calm down even more after an exiting day like this one. I texted my family and told them that I was very sorry that I didn't talk longer with them, but I needed some rest, and that we should meet up when I had enough time, yes I had four days off, but I had much to do so I didn't have the time to call them or to fly to Germany.
My manager jack called me
"Hello hello, how are you doing?"
"Hello hello, I'm fine just extremely exhausted from the show, and how are you?"
"I'm fine thanks for asking. Bad news for your resting day, you have a meeting tomorrow... I know I know you where supposed to fly back to Seoul but we already booked a new flight"
"Serious?... what's the meeting about and who is it with?"
"It's about a partnership with a company called Hybe, they have been asking to meet up with you, they didn't say a reason, except for the key word partnership. He wants to meet you in the lobby"
"Okay, what's the time?"
"10 am"
"Okay dokey, I'll be in the lobby by the time"
We hung up, I set a timer to 09:30 am and laid back down on my bed, burying my face in the pillows and falling asleep like that.
