I woke up at the same time as usual, I did my daily routine and it hit me that David was away. I got a bit emotional but then it went away because he went their for work. It doesn't seem to bother me as much, I am sure my day will go fine. Before getting in the car I checked my phone and I got a new message from David. I was excited to open it and it said: Hey beautiful, you must be sleeping. Just wanted you to know that I am in my flight and will be there by tomorrow, since it is an international business trip and its confidential we are told no to keep contact with anyone so do not worry about me and take care. Bye, love you. What know no contact for the month! Why couldn't he say that earlier? Do not worry Abigail, you have a better day ahead of you, I kept telling myself.

When I entered the building I felt fresh and new, everything seemed fine. As I entered my office with a happy smile something came running to be. OH NO, IT'S A DOG! What? How is that possible? I was running of out breath, this dog was after me. Oh no it's ruining all my paper work, I started screaming,"Shoo Shoo Shoo." What is this? I had no option but to stand in my chair, the chair was moving too. Oh no I lost balance and BOOM! I clutched my eyes, wait I didn't fall. I am alive, well I should be. "Bronzer," a voice screamed. After that the dog became quite and sat down."How did you get in here? You are not suppose to enter different rooms," continued the voice. The voice sounded new, after realizing that I was in the arms of a stranger, I spoke."Excuse me, who are you? What are you doing here and is this your dog?  Plus why are you touching me? Leave me right now!" "Woah, that attitude though," said the voice. "Listen, what ever your name is, beauty is something that you have and it looks like intelligence is also there but unfortunately you lack it. I mean you can't be that stupid right? So let me answer your questions, cause I am a nice boy like that. You came in this room and a dog that was running around and wasn't listening to you and when I said Bronzer it stopped, so obviously it's my dog. Second, I have no interest touching you. You were on a rotating chair you were about to fall, so I caught you, so you wouldn't get hurt. Instead of thanking me you are still in my arms." I got up and looked up at him."Before you ask again, let me tell you I am the new sales executive, your colleague, and maybe a new friend. Since I don't like to leave any question unanswered, let me answer your second question which was, how did I get in here? I got in here by the door. Common sense is not common anymore, anything else?  Before I was going to say anything he picked up his dog and was heading out. "Wait Mr. Nicholas Kardiara," I said. He turned around making a weird face and said, "Eww, I know I have a cute name but come on who says that. Nicholas Kardiara, who says that, its Nick. It's common sense, oh wait you lack that."I replied, "Well this is a office and everything is done professionally so no short cuts. Also for your kind information there is no dogs allowed. He started looking around,"Well I don't see a No Dogs Allowed board, but I see a I don't like having fun girl. You don't seem that old, maybe in your early twenties, why do you seem so boring though." "This is a office," I stated. "That is what I am saying, this is an office, where we work, He said."Now you see when you are at home we can do whatever we want and that's what makes us comfortable and the work we do comes out great at home. Now why right? You must be thinking why is that, because you lack common sense. Don't worry, I will explain it to you. We do most work at home because we have more time and it comes out great because we are comfortable. So in order to do great work at the office we have to be comfortable at office and to be comfortable we have to do what we want to do and act like we are home. So that is why we should treat the office as home. Right?" I was surprise, how can someone speak so much. I look around and see a mess. "Look what your Bronzer did to my office?" I said. He looked around and said, " Oh sorry about that, Bronzer look what you did say sorry." "Woof woof," said the dog. "GET OUT!" I screamed."I am going to talk to Jill or Arlene about this. Leave."

After cleaning up half of my room, I headed to Arlene's office. I had to walk to Arlene abut this whole dog thing. Entering Arlene's room I saw Nicholas already in there having a great time with Arlene. "Arlene can I speak with you for a minute or two?" I asked politely. "Sure Abigail," Arlene replied. "Hold up, did you meet Nicholas, I mean Nick? He is a sweetheart." "Oh yes, I did," I said. "It will a very memorable first meet. Arlene you didn't tell me you changed a rule?" Arlene turned around. "Rule change? I didn't change a rule," Arlene said with a question on her face. "Well, in my working years I didn't see a dog in this office."  "A dog?" Arlene said with a lost look. I pointed at Bronzer behind Nicholas. "There is a dog in this office? I didn't even see him. Nick, you have a dog? What's his name? Nicholas smiled and said," His name is Bronzer, he is the cool dog ever!" "Arlene!" I said and got her attention. "There not supposed to be a dog in here, forget the name." Arlene looked at Nicholas, waiting for an explanation. Nicholas spoke, "You see Arere?" Arere are you serious I thought. "Since I am a young, good looking bachelor, and since I get bored sometimes and also for my safety from desperate girls, (Nicholas looking at Abigail) I got a dog." "Excuse me, there is no desperate girls in this office. So you are safe." I pointed out. "Listen Abby," Nicholas said. "Abigail!" I pointed out. I never liked when people call me that, I hate it with a passion it makes my wounds reopen. "Whatever," Nicholas said bringing Abigail back to her sense. "You have to wait until I am finish. So as I was saying, that I adopt a dog for my protection and since he was a puppy he lives with me. Now, I live alone and he doesn't have a friend that could take care of him, so I brought him with me. So he can make new friends and so he get food in time. One of my friends had a dog and he left him alone in his house, came back and saw that his dog left him." Nicholas said with a puppy face. I knew that his whole story was such a lie. "Now after hearing his story, which fool would leave his dog, but if you think it's wrong to save a life then I really to resign my job." This story had no effect on me but it surely had an effect on Arlene. "Its fine," said Arlene with an emotional face. "Don't worry about it, I know what to do." Arlene headed out the door with Nicholas and Bronzer and I followed them. "Everybody, may I have your attention please?" Arlene said. Everyone stopped what they were doing and put their attention to Arlene. "So as most of you know that we have a sales executive, but not all you know that we also have another member in our little family. With Nicholas Kardiara or should I say Nick we have Bronzer who will not only protect us but help us as well!" "Woo Hoooo," everyone screamed! What, I said in my mind, Arlene can't be serious. Jill dropped his jaw, he was really in shock. I head over to him and said, "Close the jaw, my friend there is many more changes you will see. Trust me." Jill shook his head and said, "That is impossible, Arlene doesn't like dogs because she likes kittens or cats." I turned around and saw Nicholas smiling. It felt like he was mocking me, fine Nicholas I thought. "Two could play at this game," I said. "Did you say something?" Asked Jill. "No," I replied. I went to my office.

As I entered I saw Alice cleaning up my office, that is so sweet of her. Alice gave a surprise face and said,"The girl who says she doesn't like messy things has her entire cabin like a trash can." "Oh, don't remind me! Does it even look like I did this?" I said with a tired look. "That Bronzer did it!" "Bronzer? Are you okay? Who is Bronzer?" Asked Alice. "Bronzer is our new member in this office, you probably missed the announcement." I replied.  "Well, Bronzer is surely messy, what is he? A dog?" Alice joked. "Yes," I said. "He is a dog! I am not even kidding." Alice looked up and also dropped her jaw. "Alice, pick that jaw up, there is probably more to see in this office. I mean, I don't know what lunatic Arlene hired, I am not even sure he knows anything and on top of that he has a dog." Alice was really shocked and she said, "Wow that is amazing, I mean for the first time we have a dog." I looked at Alice. "I mean, don't you see? Today was his first day and he made such a big change." "Alice!" I said. I was tired already, this guy will give me a headache.
