Lost stars

The lights turn on

in the desolate, empty space,

but I am the only star

shining in the constellation.

Trying to change me

is a one-way ticket back,

trying to love me

is like pulling Excalibur.

My light shines so brightly,

I can't see you.

I lose myself in the constellation,

where you are searching for me.

Memories and hollow dreams

forgotten in time.

Your light flickers, gravity pulls,

so close yet far from you.

I find your light in the distance,

a heart of ice melting.

I drift aimlessly,

until the darkness embraces you.

For one chases the light

when it's about to fade,

but never feels its warmth

when it shines the brightest in the constellation.
