The cold marble floors echoed under expensive leather shoes as one by one, the board members filed into the vast glass-paneled boardroom. The city shimmered beyond the windows, but inside, the tension was suffocating.
At the head of the table sat Sourabh Singh, the Chairman of Seguine Group, his posture straight, his eyes unreadable.
