Authors Note: Hello Internet!
I'm here with another reaction story, the long awaited side story to "Through the Lens of a demon", where the HH and HB characters along with all of Hell and Heaven react to their story. I've been working on this for a while, and I hope I'm able to do the characters justice!
Ever since posting "Through the Lens of a demon" I've received endless support from you lovely people, and I just want to say: thanks. Thanks for making me feel like I can do this. For inspiring me to do this.
And I hope that this story can inspire you to create your own story. So please, if there's a story you want to read, but can't find, go write it.
And don't be ashamed when you initially churn out something that's about the quality of the Halo TV show. As Ernest Hemingway once said: "The first draft of everything is shit."
So go on! Write that peak fiction!
Do it!
... Do it now!
... Do it faster!
(Also, btw, any Adam fans might wanna leave, because I do not treat him well in this story. I just really don't like him.)
I own nothing except my OC's!

It was almost done. His life's, or rather, "afterlife's" work was almost completed. His greatest accomplishment, a feat that would be remembered for eternity. Was he nervous? Yes. Did he have a few second thoughts? Definitely. Was he going through with it anyways? Absolutely.

Mortis turned away from the numerous screens, and looked back at the camera in front of him. His partner had insisted that they broadcast themselves alongside the recordings, 'ease them into it' he said. He supposed he could see the logic in that, but he was also pretty sure his partner just wanted to showboat. He was odd like that. Mortis just hoped he understood the risk. Once it got out that they were the ones behind the broadcast, they probably wouldn't be able to show their faces anywhere except maybe the Hazbin Hotel. Anywhere else and who knows what could happen. Especially if their old boss might find them...

Getting this footage hadn't been easy for his partner. Were it not for Mortis' genius inventions and his partners... unorthodox methods, they would've been discovered long ago, which would have been disastrous for them both, especially if it meant Mortis' inventions falling into the wrong hands.

It had all come down to this. There was no going back. Things were already changing down here, and if this succeeded then things were going to change much more rapidly, and in ways that he couldn't anticipate.

He took a deep breath... somehow, despite the fact that he didn't have a mouth. He hoped this wasn't a mistake.
This was it.

As his partner would say: It's showtime.

"WHAT THE FU-urrr-CK?!" Vox shouted in rage, his face temporarily glitching out before returning to normal. The reason for said rage? The screens in his lair that are all currently showing nothing but static. Connected to the screens with cables, he attempted to get them back under his control, furiously typing away at his keyboard, attempting to get his broadcast back underway, but no matter what he did it remained the same, garbled by some strange signal.

FanfictionThe people of Hell suck. They don't deny that. In fact, they embrace it. Why bother being better, when Hell was forever? And forget that redemption bullshit! That Hotel would never possibly work. Not ever... Meanwhile, Heaven continues on, oblivious...
