Deku grew up in a very, not good household. His father wasn't nice to him at all and often beat him. His one other sibling was far more successful than him. So they got all the attention. His mother really didn't care about him. He had to live in a very bad room with almost no food during the day and a terrible bed at night. He knew they didn't care about him. But he had such a kind soul that he wanted to believe that maybe deep down inside them they did.

The doctor said that he would have a delayed quirk, and maybe he would get it in the next few years. But his quirk didn't come. So everybody thought he was quirklss, He even believed that himself.

But as time went on He still thought he could make it into the ua By going into the engineering class.
( I really forget the name about the class that makes stuff)

So, he worked hard on becoming a builder, At least he would be able to help people in some way.

An eventually threw enough effort. He was able to get in.

Of course, he still wanted to fight to help people like all might. But without a quirk, that's not possible.

Everything was going well in his life. He had a room at UA, so he didn't have to go back home. His sister and Bakugo were in a different classroom, so they didn't have to see each other.

Well, everything was going well until the portal opened.

It opened in the middle of the street. And people had to put caution tape around it.

Nobody knew where it went.

Not even the heroes.

Apparently people with quirks can't go through the portal.

But of course, the government didn't want to put a random civilian through an unknown place.

So they needed someone that was a hero, but didn't have a quirk.

He was really the only option.

Even though he technically had a quirk, but it wasn't developed yet. So he was counted by the portal and everyone else as quirkless.

His parents didn't care that he was going through Portal to an unknown place.

he doesn't think anyone cares.

Now, let's go to him on the scene.

Deku: Are you sure this is a good idea , nezu?

Nezu: We made all the precautions we could. All you have to remember is, Write down everything you can about what's behind the portal, Try to stay in there as long as possible, preferably, around the 5 year range, oh and Try not to die.

Deku: umm ok,I think I'm ready, I have a backpack for supplies. And
Apparently for safety precautions, My name inside there is going to be different.

Nezu: Yes, all is well and good now off You go.

(The principal doesn't seem to be worried about Me. I guess that should be a good sign? It's just making me feel more alone Though.)

He takes a deep breath before stepping through the portal. Apparently the portal doesn't even recognize that he has a quirk. He doesn't even know he has to quirk.

As his foot lands on soft grass on the other side. He can't help admire at the view. Blue skies tall mountains trees everywhere. It does seem like everything looks to be made out of blocks though?

As he catches his breath. He looks back And sees the portal disappearing.

Deku: No, no no.

He tries to go through the portal, but it's already gone before he can step through.

Deku: That's not good. Well, I guess I'm stuck here now. Hopefully they're able to find a way to bring the portal back on my side. I shouldn't focus on that. I should just focus on writing stuff down.

He flips open a new book. He starts to write about the weird blockyview of the world. He thinks he'll have to explore and find more stuff before writing anything else down.

Before He explores though he looks different.

He stares into some water that was beside him.

He can't believe how he looks.

Pink hair, tusks, Long pointed Ears, Red eyes, He even looks taller.

Of course, over the last couple years, he has been growing a bit taller. But this was like he just grew an extra couple feet in an instant.

He worries about it for a couple hours before deciding There's really nothing he can do about it.

And so he sets off.
