And I can remember, six feet of ember.
It was close to September- the end of June.
There were holes in my pockets-
My change, I had lost it.
My bravery spoke up to be burnt out soon.
And no one knows how I talked her down.
And no one felt when I heard the sound of my heart failing.
They all run to see how you're doing.
Hold the prophecy, you'll fight your way through it;
Hold your head up high-
"There's nothing to it."
"At least you're alive," what a fucking ruling.
Now I sleep in my silence,
And I walk in my quiet.
I've burned your face to see your pain and I liked it.
They ran to me to say I was 'okay.'
Took my hand and pulled down on the blade.
Eliminate my feelings now-
I'm barely alive but I'll figure it out.
My life was lost the day I saved myself.
Looking for true love, the kind that never fails.
I turned around-
There was nothing left;
This place has always made me feel worthless.
The love I have is my own anger.
I know that I deserve so much better.
So I'll leave this place come December-
And I will no longer be a choice,
But finally someone's answer.
