Waves of fate (Martin Kratt x Reader)

~POV 3rd person~

The Wild Kratt crew were relaxing in the warm weather of Northeastern America, in a nice open field by the house of Gavin and Ronan, some Wild Kratt kids they seem to run into a lot. Coincidentally, the two boys pulled out their creature pod, calling the crew from the lake Gavin got a trophy at after beating Zach in a fishing contest. The bros answer the call and run over to the lake and see the boys looking into the water, bubbles floating and popping at the surface.

"Martin! Chris! Your here!" Ronan shouted with excitement. "Of course we are!" "What's the problem?" The brother said, ready to help out in anyway they can. And just as Gavin opens his mouth to speak, water is heard rippling behind the two. All the four look towards the lake and see a girl with long dark blonde hair that had been dyed orange, dark blue eyes, and a lightly tanner skin tone than the boys. Piercings littered her ears, her hair stuck to her face, and mascara was running down her face.

She looked towards the boys and her eyes widen seeing two more people sharing the dock the two young blonde boys. She quickly hopped back up on the dock, a SOAD tank top stuck to her body, showing off her slight curves, shorts hidden under the shirt, her hair stuck to her face. "Umm...hi." She stood shyly, wiping hair off her face and squeezing water out of her shirt.

Martin was stuck in a daze, looking the girl up and down, admiring every physical feature he could see. Hair, eyes, clothes, curves, legs, lips. He couldn't look away, and neither could she. His dirty blonde hair, light blue eyes, his blue jacket that was unzipped showing a white shirt, cargo shorts, and his tall strong build tying it all together.

Gavin cleared his throat, "This is our older sister, Ash. They just finished college." He gestured toward you with a smile. Chris walked up, pulling you from your daze, grabbing his outstretched hand. "It's nice to meet you Ash! I'm Chris Kratt and this is my brother Martin! Martin?" The green brother turns to the one dressed in blue, who is still in a trance.

He walks up with a bored expression and pushes the brother in the water. You stare in amusement, giggling at the brothers and how they were with each other, reminded you of your brothers. Martin popped out of the water, spitting some out before jumping up onto the dock next to you.  He looks at you and sheepishly holds his hand out to you, "Hello, it's a pleasure to meet you two." You smile, looking at the blue brother, feeling his soft hand in yours.

"So what did you go to college for?"  Chris asks, and you answer not realizing you never released your hand from Martin's. "Marine Biology, just graduated with my masters, not sure what I'm gonna use it for though." The Kratt bros look at each other just before Gavin interrupts. "So could you help us?" The bros snap and look towards the two younger boys "Oh yeah! What's the issue." Martin pulls his hand from yours, just now realizing you two never let go.

"Well, we recently just got these new frogs in the lake and they just recently laid eggs, and since Ash came home, we've been checking in on the eggs every day and they suddenly disappeared." You nod along with Ronan's statement, adding on to it.

"It's why I was in the water, normally we'd just see them floating right around the dock but they weren't there today, so I went under to see if they sunk or something. But no, they aren't there anymore.." Martin opened his mouth to speak, but you quickly cut him off. "And no, they have not been here long enough for them to have hatched. We saw them appear about a week ago, they shouldn't hatch for another 2 weeks."

You shook your head, looking down at the water. You love of animals showing through your eyes, worried about the eggs. "Hmmm, Martin are you thinking what I'm thinking?" "I think I'm thinking what you're thinking!" You look between the two, confusion all over your face. "We'll be right back!" Martin shouts before nodding towards you and running off alongside his brother.
