Chapter 17: Tokyo Ghoul

"Nishiki come on!" Kaneki swiftly removed his apron and put on his jacket just as Nishiki walked out. "Mr. Yoshimura would want to talk to them." He pleaded hoping that they haven't gone too far, otherwise Touka made it painfully clear that she would take care of it. "Or do you want Touka to do it?" When Nishiki didn't reply but only shrugged, Kaneki rolled his eyes and began running after them. "Come on!"

"I better get overtime for this!" Nishika shouted.

"You scared them off!"

"No I didn't Kaneki. Who gets scared of a little blood?" Nishiki asked.

"Oh my god I think they're after us!" Kaminari shouted while he continued snapping his fingers. "Guys wait!"

Stopping they saw Kaminari's electricity intensify when he closed his eyes, remembering what Zuko had told him. "Let the energy flow through your body..."

"That's nice Kaminari but we've got ghouls after us!" Mina whimpered as her and Uraraka clutched onto each other for dear life.

"Sparky!"

"I'm trying!" With a deep breath, Kaminari mustered what little power he had and focused it all on the bracelet randomly dialing the next number.

"Kaneki!" Throwing his arm out Nishiki stopped Kaneki from going any further as a blinding blue orb appeared right in front of them, engulfing the five strangers and vanishing the next minute.

"W-what!" Kaneki stumbled backwards while Nishi watched on with shock that only lasted a few seconds before stuffing his hands in his pocket and began leisurely walking back to Anteiku. "N-Nishiki?"

"Oh well we tried. Nothing we can do for them now." He simply said while Kaneki stared at his retreating form in shock.

Groaning Kirishima rubbed his throbbing head as he slowly tried to get up. It took him a while to understand that it wasn't as easy as it looked considering there was a trembling Mina clutching onto him. "Um Mina?"

"Hmm?" Keeping her eyes closed it took her another few seconds to realize that she had landed on him. "Give me another few seconds."

"Tch, get up already!" Bakugo roughly shoved Kirishima's feet off him as he dusted himself off and looked down at the pair with disgust. "If you two are going to keep laying there like that at least have the damn decency to tell me so I can gouge out my eyes."

"Relax dude I think she's still shaken up." Kirishima warmly smiled down at her.

"Um yeah...definitely shaken up." Mina mumbled before regretfully getting to her feet. "Where are we?"

Turning around they were met with a bright blue sky overhead with trees all around them which at least let them know they weren't in the other world anymore- or at least they hoped not.

"Well at least this doesn't look as scary." Mina awkwardly said, but regardless of how this place may look...considering the last few experiences. Sometimes nothing looked like it seemed, so they still had to be careful.

"No. But we're down by two people." Bakugo frustratingly clenched his hands as he angrily kicked the grass. "I swear damn Pikachu needs to stop scattering us around. Who the hell knows where he and Round face are."

"Well I guess over there's a good place to start searching." Kirishima pointed a little further away which was when he noticed a beautiful large Japanese style house in the distance.

"Ooh so pretty!" Mina began skipping in that direction before stopping to look over her shoulder. "Yes I know, for all we know there could be vampires lurking inside, but we won't know where Ochaco and Kaminari are otherwise right?"

Giving the place a once over Bakugo begrudgingly nodded as he followed along.

The place didn't look so threatening, in fact it looked rather serene with a little lake, pretty views until something caught his eyes on the roof immediately followed by a familiar loud scream. "Shit!"

It all happened so suddenly. One minute she was running from yet more ghouls...and the next she was rapidly falling face first into something hard with a grunt.

"Hey watch it!"

There was a blinding puff of orange smoke obscuring her vision before it slowly began to clear. Whatever cushioned her landing was now angrily glaring back at her with the most beautiful orange eyes she'd ever seen.

"What?" blinking rapidly she leaned her face further away to inspect the hostile orange cat she still had her arms around. "A cat?"

One moment she was completed at a loss and the next the little furball decided to take a swipe at her with its paws when she still wouldn't let go after his squirming.

"AGH!" Successfully avoiding it's claws she wasn't counting on the fact that she lost her balance and began falling sideways while still holding onto the hissing cat. Well at least it was nice knowing that if she was going to go down, it would be by saving at least a cat, right?

A second before they hit the ground, she was able to activate her quirk allowing them to hover an inch off the ground -which was comical when the cat's jaw nearly dropped to the ground as well.

"There, you see? We're safe." She warmly grinned but it was only short lived when he jumped out of her grasp and began hissing at her. "I'm not going to hurt you little guy." She carefully tried to reach for him before another orange puff of smoke wrapped itself around them.

"Ochaco!" Mina's voice could be heard coming from nearby along with rapid footsteps as Uraraka continued to cough and wave her hand over her face. "We thought you were...oh my...."

Squinting her eyes open, Uraraka was finally able to see Kirishima's gaping face, Mina's uneasy wicked smile and Bakugo's furious eyes nearly bulging out of his head. "Hmm?"

Tilting her head sideways was one of the worse decisions she's made lately after the view of a naked boy who embarrassingly held a nearby pillow to try and cover up, with the same kind of eyes as the orange cat was now sitting next to her while she still held onto his arm a second before hearing Bakugo's enraged voice.

"WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK?!"
