NO ONE'S POV:

"Happy 4th Birthday in heaven, my love" Mikha said as she placed a bouquet of flowers she bought for her girlfriend in heaven, Maloi

"I'm really sorry for everything. I'm really sorry that I failed to protect you. I'm sorry that I didn't die with you" Mikha said as tears fell down her cheek.

Maloi's grave have becoming her comfort space since she passed away. Here, in this quiet place, I feel closest to her, the only place that feels like home now.

She lost Maloi in a carnapping incident 4 years ago. The couple were on their way home from a date.

While they're walking to a parking lot Mikha noticed that there are 3 guys wondering around her car, one guy is trying to open Mikha's car door.

Mikha run towards those guys and fought all her strength, little did she know that those guys were armed with gun.

One guy hit Mikha in the head with a gun to make her lose consciousness, Maloi fought as well when she accidentally remove one of those guys mask. Reason to shoot her to cause her to death.

Mikha woke up when she's in the hospital, she didn't understand how that was possible? Maloi died, while she only had a bruises.

Up to this day, she's still wondering why the universe spared her.

"Why Maloi? Ako yung walang pamilya eh. I had nothing to lose. If God really exists, he should've let me die instead of you" Mikha thought to herself.

Mikha's Pov:

"You're here and you're crying again, Mikha"

I turned around and it was Stacey, one of Maloi's closest friend.

"She shouldn't be happy to see you cry. It's been four years. Are you still blaming yourself for what happened?" Stacey asked as she sat beside me.

"I don't know how to move forward, Staks. I don't have an anchor anymore. I lost the only reason why I want to live. She's gone, Staks. It's been four years but the pain just keeps growing" I replied, my tears keep flowing and I can't hold them back anymore.

Stacey sighed. And she placed her hand around my shoulder.

"Miks, Maloi wouldn't want you to be stuck like this. She loved you and wanted you to be happy. Holding on to this guilt won't bring her back"

Tears keep falling down my face.

"Are they still blaming you?" Stacey asked, pertaining to Maloi's parents.

"We stopped talking a while back but I know that they're still blaming me for her death. Kasalanan ko naman talaga eh." I replied.

"Miks, that was an accident. It's not your fault, you didn't want that thing to happen, it's those guy's ass fault." Stacey replied.
