Today was my first race weekend. It's Thursday which meant media day. You have replaced the Australian driver Oscar Piastri, because he kept making too much mistakes.

You were in your first ever press conference which made you a little nervous. You were together with Max Verstappen and Carlos Sainz on the couch waiting for the conference to start.

"Good day everyone, welcome back. I'm here today with Carlos Sainz, Max Verstappen and Eline Visser. Eline I will start with you, welcome to F1. Do you think you can fight Lando?" The interviewer asked.

"I had instructions that right now I have to help him for the championship so I will do that. I still have to get used to everything, especially the car." I said smiling politely.

"And this weekend is extra hard since it's sprint week, do you think you can fight the redbulls and ferraris?" The interviewer asked.

"I will certainly try my best" I said.

"And you're the first and only female driver. Do you think that you can show some female power?" He asked.

"I do, women belong to this sport just as much as men and I'm here to stay" I said.

Later after all the media stuff we had a team meeting and I walked in the room where Zak Brown and Andrea Stella already were.

"Hey Eline, how's your first media day going in f1?" Zak said.

"Its good, busier than F2 but I'll get used to it" I said as I sat down on a chair.

After a few minutes people came inside and Lando Norris, my team mate came in and sat down next to me.

"I'm Lando." He whispered.

"Eline" I said in my dutch accent. People always found it hard to say my name that weren't from the Netherlands or Belgium or something.

"How?" He asked confused.

"Eline" I said and chuckled.

"I'll call you El." He said and when the rest sat down it was quiet as the meeting starts.

Later the meeting was done. I did some workouts and media and before I knew it the day was over. I got my stuff walking to through the the paddock.

I was making some pictures with fans that litterly couldn't pronounce my name. Is my name that hard? Don't even answer it.

I walked further after I signed stuff. I signed a fucking dog. Not the litteral dog, the dog had clothing on. I took some pictures with fans and walked further when I heard Lando.

"Hey El, wait up!" He said and ran to you.

"Hey" I said waiting for him and when he was close I started walking.

"Hey I just wanted to invite you to a party in Austin. No body takes no for an answer by the way. Welcome to the F1 world. Dress code is black and white, it's sunday and I'll send you the address." He said and walked off again. What just happened? Party? Dress code? Whatever. As long as they have liquor and cookie caramel I'll be good.

I got to my car and stepped in. Before I knew it I was in my hotel room and I dropped myself on my hotel bed. I got my messy ponytail out and changed into my pajamas. It was a nice loose black crop top that was pretty fluffy and white black squares on my shorts. I absolutely loved these. They were so comfy. I put on the music I always sleep with and sent my grandma a text from how my day was.

My grandma suffers from cancer and she has a little more than a year left at most the doctors said. She was really sick.

I then went straight to sleep. I had to be at my top performance.
