The guest

I always felt out of place. This life i lived never ever felt right, as if it wasn't even mine. I hated it. I hated my family, the city i lived in, but mostly i hated the empty feeling that wouldn't go away.
"Leonard! Come here!" My mother yelled from downstairs, she probably wants to scold me for something trivial as leaving my books in the kitchen. I get up and come down. "You have a guest" She says almost disgusted but with a weird chuckle in her voice. "Who would visit me of all people?" This is suspicious "Good question, just go and see for yourself" She scoff at me and shove me to the living room. I enter and my eyes immediate fall on the woman with beautiful brown hair and hazel eyes. She is holding something in her hand, it looks like... A wand? I saw these things in the movies but why she has it? " Oh, Leo" she turns around and speaks to me " hello, I've been waiting to meet you. My name is Hermione Granger and i was sent to give you this" She hands me an envelope with beautiful writing on it that says my name. I think a little but i decide to open it.

Dear mister Leonard Lee, we are pleased to announce that you have been accepted to Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The Hogwarts express will leave at 1. September from platform 9¾ on Kings cross.

The envelope contained a list of some books and other stuff. I looked surprised at the woman in front of me. "Is.. is this real? I am a wizard?" She simply nodded with a smile. "And my job is to escort you to the Leaky Cauldron where you will stay for now."
After she explained everything to me i went to pack my things and we left with the floo powder. My life has changed in a second. And i can't wait to see what awaits me in the future.
