Ok, so this isn't my poem-I'm saying that now. This is my friend's DandelionWISH 's poem. (Hope I spelt that right!) She made it a while ago, at school, so I figured I'd put it up for her! :) Check out her stuff...It's pretty great! ;)

***

I came one morning to my favorite spot

The roots of a great oak tree

A hill, it sat on top

A blue eyed cowboy stole my spot from me

We began to love

But it was more than love

It was a friendship

But we both knew our parents wouldn't agree

So every night I waited

For us to slip away into the night

And go back where it all started

Back to the old oak tree

But I wish I could feel his touch

I wish I could sink into his warm blue eyes

But what I wish most is...

That he could come back to me from the heave

ns

For a moment, sit with me

At the bottom of the great oak tree
