Luffy: Shanks I'm gonna become a pirate and build a crew stronger then yours and find the greatest treasure in the world, the one piece just u wait and see 😡.
Shanks: Is that so, anchor well then I'm going to entrust my hat 👒 to u when u become a great pirate, then return it to me . But before that I don't think u are  capable of becoming great as the way u are, devil fruits are a great source of power but the ones who actually rule are the haki users 😏.
Luffy: What is hockey, is it something that I can eat does it taste good 🤤🤤.
Shanks just fell to floor laughing at him : u idiot it's haki not hockey and it's not something that u can eat it's your will power that u use to fight. I'm gonna train u if u want but I'm going to tell u the training is gonna be hard are u up for the challenge, he said as he extended his hand towards luffy.
Luffy: yes I'm, the brats eyes shone with determination and fire so bright that it was almost frightening it gave glimpse of how much of a monster he was gonna be.
Shanks: well then there are three types of haki Armament, Observation, and Conqueror.
Luffy : huh?? How do u use them? And how do they work?
Shanks : Now u are asking the right questions wait here and let me call my crew 😁. Oi Beck, Yasopp bring your drunk 🥴🍺 asses to here for a second will yeah.
Yasopp : u are the one to talk chief if u weren't talking to anchor here u would be drunk too.
Beck : u called me Shanks .
Shanks: well I'm thinking about teaching luffy haki so I thought why not ask for your help.
Beck's and Yasopp's eyes were wide opened and they instantly became sobber.
Beck : u sure you are not drunk shanks u are talking about training a kid, training that is so hard that only a select few have successfully completed.
Yasopp : yeah Beck's right on this one boss.
Luffy : oi I'm not a kid, and if u think that I'm afraid of dying, then u are wrong I'm the man who will become the king of the pirates. It's a promise that I made to shanks so it doesn't matter if I die trying but I will never give up . His eyes burning with conviction as he bit his lip in frustration cause at how Shanks crew still thought that he was weak good for nothing snot nosed brat.
Shanks just smirked: heard the young man . Luffy, Yasopp will train him in observation and beck will train him in armament and also educate u after all we can't have a dumass for a king while I will train u in conquers. And luffy u get ready cause from tomorrow your training starts .
Yasopp : what?!!!!!!!?!!!!! The kid is a conquer.
Beck : u are a idiot u know u have the observation haki on par with captain and u didn't even realize.
Shanks: hahaa the look on your face is priceless anyhow luffy u should head back now and get some rest while u can cause I assure you that u will regret saying yes to me. The tomato 🍅 heah was smiling like the devil himself luffy just backed away while being scared and regretting his decision just a tinsy tiny bit.

Time skip 6 months has passed away .
These six months were a hell for luffy sparring with his three teachers made his whole body scream in pain and Beck's education lectures fried his brain then smushed it up baked it the minched it,  all in all it was pure suffering.

Shanks : Well then luffy will be heading out to sea now .
Luffy : can't u guys stay a little longer.
Beck : we are pirates luffy we shouldn't over stay out welcome.
Yasopp : that is true, plus our adventure is calling us after all.
Lucky roo : don't be sad we will still be friends forever we will never forget u.
Crew : yep the commander are right luffy.
Luffy kept his head down but then is felt something on his head, when he looked up he saw that it was shanks placing his precious straw hat. That was the last straw for luffy he broke down crying.......... they bid a very emotional goodbyes to each and luffy once again promised that he will become the Pirate King.
