Drivel: Greed

I had lost everything. Humanity was already dead and I was not sure if I was indeed the last of them. Yet every time I sleep, I think about the horrors that the terrorist group had came and gone upon countless villages. Burning them all down to the ground. I shuttered, closing my eyes and flinched following before my eyes reopened once more. Thus, I rose my eyes high staring to the horizon before me. Towards the silence and tranquility that was brought before these ravaged animals had came to our doorsteps. Even I had no idea why or how they had came to our doorsteps at all nor would I figure out why they were so kin of attacking us without hesitation or problems upon their sides.

Lowering my head, I stared onto the dry grounds beneath me, my head was swarming with thoughts. Fear was attached to them it had seemed. Anxiety and something else had came later on. I only shake my head onto this thought and frowned once more, raising my head back up towards the horizon and rose to my own feet. Putting out the fire, I prepared myself to 'sell' the goods that I own and other types of meat that I had found in the wild, if I were to call it that however. I only shake my head upon the following thought that had submerged upon my mind. But other than that, all I care about was getting to the end. Towards a city whom I am targeting, to make a profit for myself.

So without any form of hesitation, I grabbed onto my backpack and hoisted it over my shoulder. Closed my eyes briefly before opening them again and glanced out towards the horizon. I walked a few steps then, coming up towards the entrance of the famed valley that stands in my way. As both animals and humans have called it 'Stormy Valley'. There was a reason why it was called that, although it is just a rumor now and if I were to see it first hand, it would dispelled the rumors and exposed the truth of the valley. 'Stormy valley' is a place that I am forced to go through; but at the same time, it is a spot which I had wanted to explore. To check out the features that are so hidden within the valley, yet to be discovered.

But I had remembered the rumors; the rumors of the famed R7 group, now reincarnated into something more. Something more dangerous. For as far as I knew, there were only some groups of animals. The majority being foxes and cats, but no one knew whom were the other groups were. But I had no planned of figuring it out which. I walked for a bit; walking along the 'desert' plains before me, heading forth in the direction of where the 'Stormy Valley' is. It never took me that long to figure it out where however. In a few minutes times, I had arrived. But seeing the entrance of such valley was too intimidating to even take a confident step forth through; as the metal rods stared back onto me with those eyeless eyes. Warning anyone of coming and leaving the valley; of the warned enemies that lurked in the shadows.

But were I prepared? Probably, as I had not figured out all the factors that the group have operates as well as how the valley is structured and laid out. Everything in details were just by surface claim or rumored information that had came from other merchandiser that had came and through the valleys, eventually retiring and settling down somewhere. I gulped, rather nervously. Eyes staring up bypassing the gates in front of me, towards the path that was ahead. Shadowed by the darkness to prevent anyone from seeing whatever was ahead. With a drawn out breath, I calmed my nervousness down and just headed right in. Ignoring the anxious and fear, and entered.

A burst of air was the first thing I had noticed when coming through the gates. A soft ding echoed through the silence of the darkness, causing me to turn around and look to the bars that operate as the entrance of valley. Both bars had turned green as if acknowledging whomever had passed through them. But this green light illuminating into my own eyes also tell me one another thing too. The the enemies are released. During the first time I had been here, rumors foretold about the foxes and cats that are your first adversaries and, they were the easiest to deal with considering they do not do anything. Fire torches or anything illuminating such as the green light from the bars were the only things that can scare them away.
