Muichiro x reader: In The Library (Modern times)

It was a beautiful day with a bright blue sky and some pure white clouds slowly moving to nowhere. You were with one of your friends, Tanjiro, and you both decided to go to the library to go read some good books as a calm activity. As you entered the place, the librarian greeted you both, and Tanjiro and you returned the greeting warmly.

"I'm gonna go to the romance novels section" announced Tanjiro, pointing to an alley in the front.

"Oh, Tanjiro, I didn't know you liked romance novels!" you replied. "I think I'm gonna go check out the manga section. See you in a bit then!"

You both parted and while Tanjiro was going to the romance novels alley, you went to the far back, where there was tons of mangas. You approached the last alley and saw a human form, standing up, head bent down, like reading a book. You could only see their back. You walked closer and recognized their long black hair with blue ends. It was Muichiro, surely reading a manga or something.

You got closer to him and called out softly. "Tokito...?"

He turned around gracefully, indeed holding a manga in his hands. He looked at you blankly for a second before his eyes lit up as he realized.

"Y/n-chan!" he said as he rushed to hug you.

His sudden hug surprised you but since you've always had a crush on him, you were happy about it. Your eyes were wide with surprise as you realized you were just a bit taller than him. Around 6cm difference. Instinctively, you wrapped your arms around him just as his arms were wrapped around you.

He pulled back slightly And looked you in the eyes. He held your gaze for a while before leaning in really close. Not really knowing why you were doing it, you just pushed his shoulders to the right and you ended up hugging him again. He backed up quickly and looked at you with pleading eyes, looking like he was about to cry.

"Why won't you let me kiss you?" he whined, his hand still on your hips.

Feeling nervous and a bit awkward, you looked away and thought: 'Why didn't I let him kiss me? What have I done...' Breathing heavily, you looked at his face, his hair, his shoulders and finally his lips. As soon as you started to lean in to kiss him, he rushed and pressed his lips on yours. You felt the soft warmth of his lips on yours and suddenly an army of butterflies errupted in your stomach.

When he pulled back from the kiss, the butterflies still lingered and you could see a grin forming on his face. He kissed you again, holding it a bit longer this time. His hands were thightly wrapped around your waist and you had your hands around his neck.

Just as Muichiro was about to deepen the kiss, Tanjiro appeared out of the blue.

"Hey, Y/n, I found this b-..." he froze, seeing you and Muichiro suddenly breaking the kiss to look at him, a bit confused.

Both you and Muichiro's cheeks flushed and you burst out laughing, Tanjiro also laughing with you both. He understood he arrived at the wrong moment...
